Lauren and Iris decided to have a talk and got onto the elevator.
"So.. What do you wanna talk about? Trying to sell me drugs or something?" Iris asked with sarcasm.
"... Um no ma'am. I wanna talk about Donovan, you're son?" said Lauren as the elevator went down.
"Yeah, what about him?" she questioned.
"Well you see, I met him yesterday.. And he seems sweet and all, but is there something I should know?" Lauren questioned.
"Hmm. Let me guess, you're already falling for him, aren't you?" Iris scoffed.
"Oh no... well, kinda. But I wanted to know what that lady has to do with him? She kidnapped me and then warned me about why I shouldn't be around him!" said Lauren with confusion.
"Who, Elizabeth?"
"Yeah. She said she was "The Countess", whatever the hell that's supposed to mean." said Lauren, as the elevator doors slid open.
"Yeah, she thinks she's the main b*tch around here, just because she was married to the original owner... She took my son away from me." said Iris with anger.
"Wait, so are you saying that they were together?" Lauren questioned.
"Oh yeah. He was her little toy... But now she's got a new junkie to play with... Tristan Duffy."
She said as she walked behind the reception desk.
"Wait... I think I met him after I checked in. Black hair with a red streak?" said Lauren leaning up against the desk.
"Yep, that's him... You know.. I kinda like you." said Iris.
"You do?" Lauren chuckled.
"Yeah. I mean.. I trust you, you know, with my son and all. He doesn't really talk to me that much anymore."
"Really?.. But you guys are both living here." Lauren chuckled.
"Yeah, but he keeps his distance... I just want him to be happy, you know? That's all a mother can ask for." said Iris as a tear rolled down her face.
"Oh come here." said Lauren as she held her arms out.
Iris walked around the reception desk and gave her a hug.
"Now don't you hurt him." Iris chuckled as she wiped her tears.
"I won't. I don't even know if he really likes me." said Lauren.
"Oh trust me, he probably does."
said Iris, secretly knowing that if he didn't; she would have been dead by now.
"Well it was nice talking to you... Iris." Lauren smiled.
"You too, Lauren." she smiled back.
-
Iris had never had a guest to talk to about her problems besides herself. She felt lonely. And with Lauren, she suddenly felt that she had a friend... Some hope. And now that Lauren was in Donovan's life; it insured her that he wouldn't be around Elizabeth. The enemy.
-
Lauren got back into the elevator and headed for the top floor. She was going to see if Will Drake was in his office. When she walked in, it was quiet.
"Mr. Drake?" She called.
There was no response. As she turned the corner, she found his naked body laying on the bed.
His throat was sliced and blood was splattered across the headboard and blankets.
Lauren let out of a terrifying scream. She ran for the elevator and quickly selected the first floor.
As she ran out into the lobby, Detective John Lowe was coming down the staircase.
"Is there something wrong?" He immediately asked.
"Yes. Will Drake is... He's- He's dead." Lauren stuttered with fear.
She had never witnessed something like this before.
"Show me." said John as he pulled his gun out.
"What's happening?" asked Iris from behind the desk.
"Nothing ma'am. Just stay where you are." He demanded.
-
When John and Lauren got up to the top floor. She led him to the office. He told her to stand back, while he investigated the room. John's first thought was that it was The Ten Commandments Killer striking again... But this was different. This wasn't the same guy.
-
Within about 20 minutes, John had the whole hotel on lockdown. All of the guest were asked to stay in their rooms while the police force and ambulance came to get Will's body. John didn't insist further investigation because he wanted to figure this one out on his own. This was his case. The case that would prove to Alex that he wasn't failure.
-
Tristan snuck into a hotel room by picking the lock. All he had on was a robe and was covered in blood. He took the robe off, and got into the shower. As he started to wash his body, he heard a noise come from outside the bathroom. He peeked outside the curtain but couldn't see anything.
"Hello?" he asked.
He waited for a few seconds but nothing was there. He figured he was just hearing things.
As he turned back into the shower, someone rubbed their hand on his back.
"You killed him didn't you?" asked Sally. She stood behind him with nothing on.
Tristan jumped and quickly turned around.
"Who are you?" He asked while checking her out.
"You know, I've always wanted a bad boy." She grinned as she reached for his d*ck.
He paused and smiled.
"Oh yeah?" Tristan said as he watched her play with him.
"Yeah... Why don't you show me how bad you are." said Sally, biting her lip.
"I like the sound of that."
-
Tristan made sure that he got all of the blood off, and finished washing his hair and body.
When he turned back around, Sally was gone.
"Where'd you go?" He asked as he turned the water off.
"I'm in here." said Sally.
-
When Tristan walked into the room, she was laying on the bed touching herself.
"Do you need help with that?" He asked while licking his lips.
Sally nodded her head.
Tristan got onto the bed and buried his face in between her legs.
-
Meanwhile, The Countess was sitting in her penthouse; doing her makeup. Then suddenly, Mr March appeared.
"Ooh, well why don't you look nice."  He said leaning up against the wall.
"James. You startled me." She said standing up.
"Sorry sweetheart. So I'm guessing you're going to pay some homage tonight?" He asked with a smile.
"Only to the one and only, Mr March." She chuckled, as she walked towards him.
"God you're beautiful." said Mr March as he went in for a kiss.
Elizabeth felt that she could be herself around him. Her true lover. Not have to be the monster that she really was. When she's around him, she doesn't feel the urge to feed. But now that he's dead, and stuck in the Cortez... She has to carry on his legacy. The legacy of being the greatest killer of all time.
