HANNAH
An hour and a half had passed and everyone except me and Leo were asleep. I was busy popping my bubble gum while he was trying to call Shadow and the rest of the team. No one seemed to pick up because he had tried for 6 times each already and all he got was “The number you are calling is busy at the moment. Please call again later” tone. He even finished 3 packs of XOs already.
“How long ‘til we reach destination, Hannah?” he asked.
“About 4 or 5 more hours.” I replied.
“I see,” he said. “I couldn’t contact Shadow and the others.”
“Maybe they are just busy,”
“I don’t know. I haven’t been in touch with them for some time now, especially Shadow.”
“It’s alright. They are friends. They’ll know what to do.”
“Well, I guess you are r---”
Before he could finish his sentence, a large boom came from the engine room. Smoke rushed into the passenger area and almost suffocated my friends. Good thing they were alert enough to wake up and drop on the floor to avoid inhaling the smoke. Although they were okay, they weren’t in the state to do anything with a surprised brain and rising adrenaline. But they’re professionals so I wouldn’t have to worry about them but rather myself and the other girls.
“I’ll go at the back and check what happened! You keep her flying!” Leo said. “Mark, come with me!”
“Sure thing!” Mark replied.
“Okay! If you guys can’t fix it then I think it’s time to say GOODBYE!” Hannah said.
Leo and Mark went to the back and I didn’t know what they saw. I just kept controlling the jet the best I could in the middle of North Pacific Ocean a thousand miles away from any land. Bottom line, without an engine, you wouldn’t be really flying, well, you’d crash to the waters. The least that I could do was to make it a safe landing right? To do that, all I did was let go of the wheel and got the inflatable boat, pumped some air, shouted to get everybody inside the boat, and got the food and guns was the last thing I remember. Then, I blacked out.
“Ugh, these blackouts should stop soon,” I complained. “Where are we?”
“You’re awake huh?” JE asked.
“I don’t know. Somewhere in the middle of North Pacific Ocean I bet,” Jan answered.
“We’re in a inflatable boat floating for about 6 hours now,” Lc added.
“I’m hungry,” Telou grumbled. “Good thing you were fast, Hannah. Otherwise, we would’ve been dead.”
“We survived that?” I asked. “That’s a miracle.”
“Yeah, luckily, the boat got sucked out due to the vacuum wind when the door was opened,” JE said while searching for food with and Jan.
“Better conserve our water and food supplies, guys, if you want to live,” Lc reminded.
“Gimme some of that too,” Telou grumbled before jumping to the guys.
“Wait. Am I missing something?” I asked. “Something feels missing.”
“Oh you mean Leo and Mark?” Telou asked with a bun in her mouth.
“Oh, them, now that I think about it,” JE added while drinking some juice.
“Maybe he is somewhere there,” Jan said with a hotdog in his mouth and ketchup and mayo covered his cheeks.
“They are is swimming maybe HAHAHA,” JE chuckled. “Don’t worry, they will live.”
