The rainy night

It was night, the young man with the straw hat walked on the street that rainy night. He reached the house, the house where the woman he loved stayed. The drops of the clouds were falling peacefully on the street and the leaves of the trees. The young man knocked the wooden door of the doctor's house. He wanted to see for a first and last time his child.
Slowly the door opened up and he saw the woman with the brown hair. She was holding in her hug a baby boy. The baby was sleeping in his mother's hug.
She looked at the man and smiled in happiness.
Rose: Shanks, I have to introduce you someone. This is Yun, our son.
Her green eyes sparkled, she was more beautiful than ever. She was so happy because she dream her future with the two men of her life. That fact was killing the father. He loved them more than anything else but he had to go. The red hair man was a pirate, a member of the pirates king's crew. Shanks had a lot of enemies and they wanted him dead. He was scared of Rose's and Yun's life. He wanted to protect them from any danger, with a knife on his heart said.
Shanks: I have to go.
Rose:He is your son and he needs a father.
Shanks: I'm sorry but no one must ever learn about that. I don't want to put any of you in danger.
Rose: Then go.... Yun and I will be fine.... I'll miss you...
Rose could understand why he had to go and why little Yun must not know about his father.
Some tears run down her cheeks but forced herself to smile. She wanted Shanks to remembered them happy.
Shanks: I'll miss both of you.
He walked closer and gave a last soft kiss on her lips. She closed her eyes and kissed him back.
The pain in theirs hearts were strong but they smiled lightly.
Shanks: Take care, okay?
He stroked her cheeks with his hands. She nodded.
Rose: You too.
He turned his watch to little Yun. His son, the boy who would never learn that he was his father... but it was for his protection. The pirate stroked his child and kissed his forehead.
Shanks: Be brave and take care your mother, okay?
He chuckled and after started to walk away.
Rose with broken heart watched him to leave in the rain until he disappeared into the shadows.
