babysitting [taehyung au]

flashback {one year later} (2011, seoul)
authors note: sorry guys chap 1/2 are mostly flashbacks!
"What do you mean the baby is your child?!" Suji's father spat furiously, his face convulsed with rage. He was livid.

"A-Appa I can explain.. I'm sorry I-" Just as Suji's head lifted ajar, she caught the image on a hand coming towards her direction. Then a big slap to her face came down hard, she fell to the side, her balance off. The left side of her face stung but yet not as harsh as the sound made as the hand connected with her cheek.

"You're such a disgrace to this family!" He snarled crossly, his brows furrowed darkly as he slammed the table with his fists.

For the past one year, Suji had been lying to her father that her biological child was a friend's child whom she had been babysitting. Unfortunately, Suji was caught by father when she brought the baby to clinic and informed the doctor that she was the baby's mother.

Suddenly, Suji's mother rushed in to see what the whole commotion was all about. There she saw Suji, her hand clutching her stinging red cheek while her husband was in front , his fists clenched as he was glaring at Suji.

"You knew about this too?! How dare you deceive me! And you had the nerve to bring the baby to this house?! Did you have fun making me look like a fool? Why Areum? Who's the father? Why is she alone?!" He fumed as he quivered in rage, his eyes began to water. Her mother kept silent, guilt written all over her face, bitterly regretting for not telling her husband about the baby.

"I'm sorry Appa, p-please don't drag Umma
into this, she didn't do anything wrong." Suji tried to explain as she was choked with sobs.

Immediately, Suji's father shook his head in disappointment and disbelief and proceeding to go into his room, not wanting to see Suji's face.

"What are going to do?" Her mother's eyes glistened with tears. She then embraced her with a warm and affectionate hug of sympathy, clasping her arms around Suji tightly. She felt a barrier of protection waver over her as she was hugging her mother.

- the next day -
Suji was cradling her baby, Minguk, in her arms in her tiny bedroom when suddenly Suji's father appeared at the door.

"I'd like to have a word with you," Those words made Suji gulp in fear as she nodded her head in approval as sign for him to continue.

"Who's the father? Who is he,huh? Why did he leave you alone?" Suji's father immediately attacked her with questions.

"Appa, I can take care of Minguk on my own. I know I can! I'm sorry, Appa. I'm raising Minguk on my own. He didn't know about her." She tried to persuade her father which made him even more crossed than before.

"If you can't bring his father to me, then I'll guess we'll have to put him up adoption," He suggested not wanting to make eye contact with Suji.

Just then, Suji's mother barged into the room. "Honey, you can't do that!! Minguk is Suji's so-" "Don't interfere!" Suji's father lost his cool.

"Fine then. I won't acknowledge you as my daughter anymore. Get out of my house!"

"Appa you can't do this!" Tears of sorrow started streaming down Suji's face as she proceeded to go to her bedroom to pack her bags and took Minguk along with her that being the last time she would ever see her whole family again.

authors note : hi everyone !!! sorry for making y'all wait so long and I apologize that this chapter was so short >< my phone kept getting confiscated and I'm secretly using it right now (my dad is sleeping so HAHAHA) sorry taehyung hasn't come into the picture yet ^^ btw, Suji is 19 when she gave birth so she just finished schooling. AND ALSO sorry for naming the baby "Minguk" I know it's rly unoriginal but I love that name and I imagine the child to be him so yeah :-)
