April 2014

Two months after graduation, 3 weeks before our play in Japan, and just two days before we leave. The last time I contacted Jimin, his voice was different. I thought he was too tired, and he was punished for breaking the rule, for going to me. I knew that he tried to hide it, but it was still obvious. And also that time, when I was about to tell him that I'm going to Japan, the call already ended. I didn't know if his battery just gone dead or he purposely ended it, or if his manager took his phone. But right now, I knew that I can't just leave without telling him that I'm leaving.

"Here" My attention was brought back to reality when a bottle of cold soda appeared in front of me. I smiled as I reached for the bottle, not forgetting to say a thank you to Chaseul, my friend from the theater. We were both going to Japan for our studies but my family will moved there earlier while Chaseul will just follow a week after.

Even though we were from different schools and met only because of the play and acting, Chaseul became a good friend to me. I could actually call her a bestfriend now. And like any bestfriend, she knew if I'm worried about something "Is something wrong?" she asked as she sat beside me and took a sip on her drink. We were currently at the park, just casually having some talk.

I sighed and stared at the bottle in my hand, not answering her. Even though she was my closest friend now and will definitely grow closer for sure, I didn't tell her about Jimin or about me and Jimin. All she knew about is that I'm a fangirl. A plain fangirl. Not a girlfriend of one of the members of BTS. I sighed, I think it was time for her to know, and I knew I can trust her with this secret.

"It's about Jimin" I said and I saw her smile. "Oh BTS? Ei I thought it was something serious—" "I'm serious" I cut her sentence and saw the surprised look on her face, her eyes rounding up while her mouth form an "o". "Sorry" I mumbled, I knew I shouldn't be like that, she didn't know anything of course she would react like that. "It's okay, my fault too. But why by the way?" she asked. I stared at her again before opening my mouth "I will tell you a secret" I started

"Jimin is my boyfriend"

She reacted the way I expected her to react, of course she she would think I'm delusional, but after I told her everything, from our first meeting up until the graduation, her jaw dropped. "Woah, so you and that idol are really a couple? Dae~~bak!" she beamed excitedly and clapped her hands but then realizing something the smile on her face disappeared and turned to me with a frown "So you're sad because you're going to leave, right?" I replied with a simple nod "That's really sad, long distance relationship is hard and the fact that he is an idol will make it even harder" she said

"I'm thinking of breaking up with him" I said and her face automatically turned to me "WHAT?!" "He's busy right now and I can't contact him, I want to properly say goodbye to him and end this personally, but like this maybe I'll just leave without a word, and let time decide" I said and look down at my shoes as if they're the most interesting thing.

"I've never been in a relationship so I can't give you a good advice that you need, I'm sorry" she said sincerely and somehow it made me smile a bit, she didn't really need to give me an advice, the fact that someone was listening to me was fine for me. "You don't have to" "Hey, but you can try to meet him" she suddenly suggested "How?" "At their company building, I'm sure he's there" she said "Yes he is probably, but the chance to see him is very low, if ever he will just pass by and his manager won't let him talk to me" "But you should still try, I mean... you love him right? I don't think breaking up with him is the best thing to do, but if you're going at least say a proper goodbye"

It took me a while "But I don't how..." "I'll accompany you"

And just like that, I found myself in front of Bighit Entertainment's building the next day, staring up at the building wondering where Jimin could be. I stared at the girl beside me, hey eyes were wandering around the place, looking at every building while sipping on a bubble tea. It was her first time in Seoul and she kept babbling earlier on how beautiful the city could be. "Hey, what should I do" I said gaining her attention. "Try going in" she nudged me "What? Are you crazy they won't let me in" I said, it was a good thing that the place was actually near empty with just some random people passing by, there were no fans, maybe because they were already at the broadcast station where BTS have a schedule.
