"Wake up Honey." My mom woke me up that next morning, and I was not ready to get up. Groggily, I opened my eyes to my mother's lipstick smile and bright, wide, yellow eyes. It was funny how well she preserved herself, she never sleeps. She works night shift at the hospital and so does my father. I never see then sleep during the day either. There were a lot of weird things about my parents. I just try to ignore them. The flaws, not my mom and dad.

"Get in the shower, Mariko, and I'll make you breakfast." I smiled and said thank you. I gracefully jumped off the top bunk and landed on the rug softly. I trudged into my sea-themed bathroom and stripped off my clothes.I stood in front of the mirror and looked back at my pale body, pushing my messy hair off of my C-cups. I turned the water on warm and stepped into the shower, letting the warmth wake me up

When I got to school I wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone, but evidently all the girls who worshipped me bombarded me with compliments on my new BCBG pants. Massie, who was the ring leader of them asked me if I was really working the kissing booth. I just told them all I had to go to the bathroom and made a bedroom turn to the nearest one.

Relived, I went to the mirror and adjusted my bangs. That's when I realized. There weren't the usual row s of stalls behind me. There were urinals. And someone was standing next to me. A laughing blonde haired someone.

"Henry?" I asked, shocked and embarrassed I ha chosen the wrong restroom.

"That's me!" He laughed. "I didn't know you were a boy"

My cheeks turned pink and I said,

"I better go..." and I rushed for the exit.

"Don't go, Mariko! Haha, that rhymed!" He cheered, pulling me back into the restroom. "Nobody ever comes in this one!" Nervous, I walked back in, facing him, and I asked why.

"Well, let's just say there was an accident that was never cleaned up..." He jerked his thumb over to the last stall and I screeched "EW!"

"Wait a minute... Then why are you in here?" I asked suspiciously. I wanted to keep looking at him, his blue eyes were to die for.

"I saw you make a wrong turn!" He laughed, taking a step towards me. I slapped his left arm playfully and he slapped my arm.

"I hear you're working the kissing booth? Must suck when you'll have braces." The thought of Henry kissing me suddenly filled my mind, making me want to grab him right there and press my lips against his.

"Yeah... It will..." I whispered quietly, trying to seduce him.

"Hey maybe I'll come visit your booth..." He whispered, inching towards my face. We were about a foot apart from kissing when the bell sounded through out the hallways. Henry laughed and raced out the door without another word, leaving my heart yearning for another encounter.
