I heard the familiar name call from the nurse,
"Mariko Sobinski? Are you here, Mariko Sobinski?"
Then, Henry decided to look at me. Of course he looks then. I saw his green eyes look into mine, and then he quickly looked away. When Henry looked at me, my heart leapt into my throat, then when he looked away, my heart sank to a place called my stomach. I rose, and walked towards the blond, forced-smile nurse in lavender clothing. She had bright red lipstick painted onto her lips and pearly white teeth that were clearly being revealed through her fake plastic smile. As she led me back into the x ray room they always talk you to first, she started asking those awkward questions.
"So, Mariko dear, should I call you Mari, or Mariko?" She looked at me creepily and smiled a creepy, way too happy smile.
"Mariko, please ma'am." I mumbled through my crooked teeth. She took me to the x ray room and say me down in a very uncomfortable leather chair covered in plastic wrap. I sat in it eerily, and she went to the sink, and came back with a little plastic grey chip. she bent it, and told me to bite down. I bit down, and it felt as if the plastic was cutting into my mouth. She pulled a big machine over and put it close to my mouth, then pulled it away. She did this tree more times, then took me to the big room.

About an hour later, after I got my check up of course, I found my self sitting in my chair, waiting while my mom was having a talk with the dentist. I looked to my right, there was a screen covering up the other side of the room. I thought I was alone, so I said,
"Hello?"
I listened for an answer, then I got one.
"Um...hi? Who is this."
It sounded like a familiar teenage boy voice.
"Mariko Sobinski, age sixteen. You?"
"I'm Henry, age sixteen, and I think that I go to your school."
