Midnight Island

Chapter 1

Long ago there lived jungle boy by the name of Eli, who lived in a part of Midnight Island, with his best friend and sister, Emi.   It all started 16 years ago, When a little baby boy just appeared out of nowhere in a beautiful glowing cave, When he opened his eyes he saw a wolf cub who was also alone. As Eli, starred at her, he in that moment caught her eyes as well. The two came towards each other. Once they were close enough to touch, Eli shouted "Emi," and hugged her tightly. From then on Eli and Emi were never alone again. They were always together. One day he remembered the horrific day 16 years ago, days have passed, but nothing like that has happened again; storms were everywhere, lightning bolts clashing with the ground.   He had many gifts; one of them was that he could speak to animals.   He used that gift to help get every special animal on midnight island to safety.   When he was done, Eli and Emi headed back to the cave, but Eli was electrified by a volt of lightning, he was fine but he collapsed and Emi could't wake him up.   Emi carried him to the cave and with tears coming down her face.   Emi put her head on his chest and went to sleep, planning not to wake up till Eli does.   While in a deep sleep, Eli dreams of what happened 16 years ago when he found out he could actually talk to Emi, he had had that gift ever since he was born but it triggered all of a sudden one day. Eli and Emi could't communicate by talking but he could just talk to her through thoughts, he loved that he could talk to Emi.   Eli is very smart and strong; there was nobody like Eli in midnight island or anywhere , so nobody like Eli lived or even visited the island and that was a good thing, because if any human came and tried to harm his special animal friends he would't forgive them and play horrible tricks on them till they left the island and never came back. But if they did, that would be a automatic death sentence.    Eli finally woke up and upon awakening he see's Emi on his chest, he sits up and her head is on his lap and a single tear escapes her eye. he grabs her gently and hugs her. She wakes up and says, "I've missed you so much Eli".
