I walk up and sit down outside of my new school. On the outskirts of Riverbend the school is painted with red, yellow and burgundy colors, where there are benches scattered all over the outside of the school where students can sit at the beginning and end of the school day.
*beep*
I check my phone, FINALLY!!!!! Finally David texted!
"First day back at school and already wishing it would end🙃🙄"
"Be happy!!! You get to meet new people and make new friends. Aren't you just excited?!"
He replies with a strict "no". I'm the optimist out of the group. Always bringing sunshine and rainbows. David's the crazy funny one. He's always making horrible jokes and puns; and oh yeah he's a transgender. He's adorable and has the most adorable laugh. And last but not least there's Austy, she's the quiet one out of the group but she has big heart.
"Fine alright " I text back "school maybe horrible but you have to admit that meeting people and making new friends is the good part about school"
It takes him a few minutes to gather his reply
"Uhmmm..... Yeah Noo.... I hate everyone 😊"
Oh yeah that's one thing about David. He hates everyone, and I mean everyone. It's really funny because he's actually pretty nice and adorable. Okay now at this point you're probably think I have a crush on David.... And the truth is.... I kind of do. But I know he doesn't like me like that. It's also a funny story on how we met each other. We actually met each other in a groupchat. There was 50 or so people in his groupchat (he was admin so I assumed he made it) and when I left because my phone was lagging. He texted me separately and asked why I left. I told him the reason why I left and ever since we talked becoming more familiar with each other and eventually becoming best friends. How I met Austy though is a different story. I met her on Instagram. I told her to Kik me if she ever needed help on anything or if she just needed someone to talk to and she did and surprisingly we became best friends. Now you're probably asking how they both met each other. By me of course! I made a groupchat specifically for us and I let them join and BAM! BEST FRIENDS FOREVER!
"Yup I agree with David school is the freaking worst. Teachers, the kids just ugh *shudder*" Austy replies with.
"David doesn't know what he's talking about" I say.
We text back in forth in the groupchat for a little while until the gates open to Riverbend. Greeting new and old students to the new school.
I text Austy and David that I have to go and turn of my phone and head straight into Riverbend Middle.
