The outside of the school is nothing like the inside. The inside is incredible! Instead of the school colors the walls are painted an off whitish color. In the courtyard there's picnic tables all around, a little garden and they even placed a soda and snack machine near the gym. This school is so huge, I don't even know how I'm going to find my way around this school. The students have been here for three years 6th and 7th grade year while me, this is my first year here. I've been homeschooled for the last two and half years for middle school. This is my first time actually being a part of the middle school experience and I don't want to ruin it.
I walk to the gym and sit down on the bleachers. The gym is pretty big. The gym has four sets of bleachers on each side and has a big gym floor to cover the middle space. In the middle of the floor theirs the schools mascot 'home of the Florida Panthers'. I look at my watch "8:30" it reads. 30 more minutes. School doesn't start until 9:00. Which I'm glad because it gives me some extra time to sleep. I take out my schedule for school and start to read it.
"Language Arts BLDG 2-204"
Should be easy. Find building 2 and look for classroom 204. Okay moving on
"Physical education BLDG 6"
"GOOOOOOOD MORNING STUDENTS!!"
I look up and see a guy wearing blue basketball shorts and a plain white T-shirt to match. He looks cute I give him credit for trying.
"Welcome to your first day at Riverbend Middle!."
