"Hey Maddie!" my best friend Kendall shouted a few feet behind me.
I grinned as I greeted her with a smile.
"Wanna go hit Starbucks?" I asked her with a nudge and a smirk. I was low-key hoping she would say yes because I was really craving a Cinnamon Roll Frappé since 3rd period.
She sighed and said yes. I squealed in excitement and pulled her by her sleeve out the schools front doors.

Thankfully, no one from our school was at Starbucks. Not that I don't like people from my school it's just... Never mind; I dislike everybody from my school. Whoops!
We ordered and sat down at the cleanest table we could find. Kendall and I discussed how our history teacher is the most boring person ever. Kendall laughed as I did awful impressions of her until I looked at my phone and realized it was time to go back to school.

I slumped down the creaky seats in my geometry class. Well, at least Chloe was in my class. Unfortunately, we didn't sit next to one another. I dragged myself to the next, and the next, and yeah; you get the point.
Soon enough it was the end of 9th period and I was free from prison.
I was supposed to get a ride home from Josh, my boyfriend, but I'd rather not. So instead I texted him saying I had a headache and that I would just take the bus.
But then I remembered I hate the bus. But I guess I just had to suck it up. Whatever.
