Casey

I brushed through the crowd of my pack members. As the Alpha of Starlight Pack, I can easily breeze through a sea of my people. As soon as I reach the front, I raise my hands to silence the riot before me.

"What seems to be the problem?" I said, my voice booming throughout the crowd. My Third in Command, Nic, confronted me and whispered in my ear, "There are rumors that Imagination Pack is planning to attack. There have been sightings of their Alpha Female along our borders with her little sister. They were being attacked by a small group of Rogues. We believe that she is scoping out our land." I nodded and turned my attention back to the waiting crowd. "Apparently there is belief that the Alpha Female of Imagination Pack is scoping out our land to plan an attack. I'd like to point out a few things that would make this unlikely. One, she brought her little sister. If I know one thing about the Alpha Female, it's the fact that she will die for her sister at all costs. I don't understand why she'd put her sister in danger. Two, she was attacking Rogues that we were unaware of. There could be a slight possibility that she is helping us." I announced, gazing through the furious faces. One voice spoke out, "Your father killed her father, what makes you think she'd want to help us? She hates us!" I considered the comment.

It is true, my father destroyed hers. Even though he was my father, I knew he cheated on the Alpha Battle. His boots were laced in Wolfsbane: Werewolf's worst enemy. Wolfsbane is like silver, only more lethal and extremely deadly.

I let out an irritated growl and ordered my Beta, Reagan, to handle the situation. His chest vibrated in a annoyed growl before whispering, "People overreact all the time. Its no big deal. We can handle the problem, always have, always will." I chuckled in agreement before I slipped off to my Alpha Office.

My secretary, Alice, gave me a perky wink and slightly bit her bright red bottom lip. When I approached her, her blue eyes brightened. "Alpha Casey, how may I be of assistance?" Alice smirked, gently grabbing ahold of my left hand. The thought of Alice and I doing anything sexual together was sickening, even if she was only twenty. I gave her a tight smile, "I would like for you to look through the security cameras that my father placed in Imagination Pack's Alpha Headquarters. Then send them to my computer. Thank you." She sighed in disappointment but nodded. I tore my hand from hers and quickly made my way to my office.

After I unlocked the great oak door, I rushed in and slammed the door behind me. The horrifying touch of Alice's hand still burned on mine, sending chills of disgust up my spine. I took a deep breath to try and calm myself.

I calmly turned and silently locked the door to be sure Alice doesn't come barging in. I then walked over to my oversized desk, my paperwork was beautifully organized. I had cabinets, one drawer for each pack in the West Territory. Currently, I had the folder for all of the Pack Meetings with my pack has had with Imagination Pack.

My brown eyes gleamed at the sight. I clasped my hands together as I took a seat in the comfy black office chair. Time to get down to business.

I took a quick glimpse through, gathering all the information about the Alpha Female. I was shocked to find out that she was my age, merely seventeen. A young Alpha Female, who hasn't found her mate. Her name is Grace Frost, and her blue eyes attracted mine. They held a purpose, a determination. I read further down to find out that she had a little sister, Anne. Anne resembled Gracie as if she was Gracie's daughter.

As I continued to read about Anne, I read that her mother died after her birth. The thought saddened my heart. That must've been terrible, both Gracie and Anne going years without their parents. Gracie is strong to have taken in the role of an Alpha, and a protective sister.

I have the urge to meet Gracie. The thought is crazy, considering the fact that there is a possibility she is planning an attack to avenge her father. I honestly don't blame her. I just hope I can meet with her and negotiate before its too late and blood is spilled.

I sighed and slid open one of my desk drawers. I pulled out a map of the pack territories, pleased to see that my pack help the most territory. I placed my index finger on the soft paper and scanned the map until my finger stopped at Imagination Pack. Our neighboring pack. If I go out now, I can make it there before six o'clock.

I organized my paperwork and stashed my map in a sleek black backpack that held a change of clothes. Maybe Gracie will negotiate, without force. I'll only find out when I arrive at her Headquarters. This may be an interesting trip, one that I must do alone. I walked to the door and unlocked it before I swiftly breezed through and past Alice. She called out to me, "And where are you going, Alpha?" I slowed my walk, but did not stop. "That is none of your business. Make sure everyone stays in line while I'm away. I'll be back before you know it. Please inform Nic that he's in charge." I spoke over my shoulder before I cruised out of sight.

There you have it, Chapter 2. I apologize for the wait. It turns out that Casey, the son of the Alpha who killed Gracie's father, is off to meet Gracie. This'll be interesting. Patiently wait for the next chapter!
