Chapter 3 I have a stalker

After the incident with James, i just laid in bed thinking about how he had only been here for a day and so far ive insulted him, he has kissed me and claimed me as his mate. My father is going to be pissed if he finds out The Wolf Prince has claimed me as his own, even though we dont know what i am my father considers me a vampire like him and for my mate to be a wolf would be disgraceful and even though my father loves me he would surly kill me or banish me if i decided to accept James as my mate. Ugh why must things be so hard? I throw my pillow and snarl and let both sets of my canines out, ah it feels good to let them out. They constantly ache and i know i will have to feed eventually, so far i have kept from doing so because i dont know what i will turn into once i take my first. I sigh and roll out of bed and check the clock, its only 5:00 am but i cant sleep. My mind is racing with thoughts of James and my father, i slip some riding clothes on and head out to the stables. I saddle up my mare and head to the forest at a full on gallop.

James's POV

I watch from my bedroom window as she rides out into the forest and i smile as i recall the past day. When i arrived i felt a pull from my heart and when i laid eyes on the kings daughter i knew, i just knew she was mines and nothing was going to keep her from me. I let out a small growl, except her father of course. I could see at breakfast that they are very close. Sighing i sit on my bed, i shouldnt of kissed her but it was so hard not to. She was standing so close i couldnt help it, her lips were so soft and moved against mine. She seemed to enjoy it then i had to go and call her my mater and claim her. I snarl and punch the wall putting a hole in it, stupid im so stupid, getting up i throw on some clothes and dart out the door heading through the halls out to the stables and once i reach the part of the woods she rode into i shifted and felt free. Sticking my nose to the ground i sniffed until i picked up the scent of her and her horse and i set off at a run and enjoyed the rush of it all, picking up speed i zipped through the trees and enjoyed the feeling of being free and watching the trees zip past me. Panting i slow down and cautiously walk forward to where i see her sitting next to her horse as she grazes. Turning my attention back to Sita, i watch as she twirls a katana in her hands so swiftly and precise it was like watching a dance. She stands up and slowly turns around and i shrink low to the ground and i see her glare in my general direction, i hear a low growl coming from her an she says " i know you're there now show you're self, or you will force me to hunt you down and kill you" i can tell she is serious from the coldness in her eyes and i hesitate, yes i, the Great Powerful Wolf Prince has hesitated, this woman is not someone i would want against me. I stand up and slowly walk into the clearing and i watch as her eyes go from cold to surprised then furious and i realize that maybe i shouldn't have followed her out here, even if it was to apologize for my behavior.

Sita POV

After i rode out that morning i had been sitting in the grass next to my horse as she grazed, i came here often to collect my thoughts and as i was practicing with my katana i felt something watching me. I stood up and slowly turned around and stares directly where i felt the presence, " i know you're there now show you're self, or you will force me to hunt you down and kill you" i said and i watched as a figure emerged and i was surprised to see the Prince in his wolf form and i was happy to see him but only for a moment. I hardened my gaze and stalked over to him, and even though he towered over me in his wolf form he backed up and tired to get away but i pressed him against a tree and put my katana to his throat. " what the fuck are you doing here Prince? Did you follow me?" I glared at him and he let out a small whine, of course he couldnt actually speak to me while he was a wolf but that didnt mean i still couldnt demand answers. Ok maybe it did but i wasnt gonna be rational right now, first he kissed me without asking and insulted my father and i and now he has followed me. I snarl in his face then back up, by now my horse has run as fast as she could back home to the safety of the stables, i sigh. I really need a new horse, mine was too old to be of any use in battle. I take a few more steps back and sheath the katana on my back and he nods his head at me. " come on Prince lets go back so i can tell at you when your in human form" i glare at him and he puts his ears back and i swear his tail goes half way between his legs and i smirk at him and he just huffs and turns and starts stalking back to the castle and i walk quickly to catch up." I dont know why you're huffing and pouting Prince, you are the one who followed me and watched me like a creepy stalker" i reach over and shove his side and his head whips around and he glares at me and huffs right in my face, and surprisingly his breath smelt really good but i wasnt going to let him know that. I bare my teeth at him and start walking faster but he keeps up with me easily and soon the castle comes into sight and i slow down to a stop. James looks back at me and i motion him to continue."I will see you in a few minutes after you have changed." He nods and starts to walk off but i stop him," And James? meet me in the kitchens, im rather hungry" he nods and i swear as he walks away hes laughing because i see a wolffish grin on his face.

I took a few minutes before heading inside to the kitchen. Once i opened the door the smell of pastries hit me and i stood there with my eyes closed just breathing it all in when i heard a cough and i opened my eyes to see James starting at me chuckling." Seems the princess loves pastries" he chucked and so did the chefs. i throw him a glare and walk over to chef" anything good today?" he chuckles " i never cook anything bad Sita" i smile at him." i know chef. so what can i eat?" he laughs and points to the fat counter and i grin when i see it covered in pastries and i snatch a plate and fill it with Danishes, small coffee cakes and cinnamon roles and i take a seat at the counter and dig in, i notice James hasn't eaten anything and i mumble around the food in my mouth" arent you gonna eat anything?" he shakes his head " im not hungry Sita" i nod at him and finish my food and lean back" alright, so why did you follow me," he sighs" i just wanted to apologize for my behavior" he looks at me and i swear i see more than sadness and happiness in his eyes, i see love. but the moment i think that the looks is gone and i shake my head to clear it, " well you could if just waited till i came back, you didnt have to follow me" he sighs and chuckles " i suppose i didnt but i wasnt thinking at the time" i nods at him and stand up" well i have things to deal with today, can you manage being on you're own for a bit?" he nods and i walk out heading toward fathers office.
