Chapter 4 Im a what??!

After leaving James in the kitchen, i walked to fathers office and knocked on the door and I hear a grunt and open the door to find him sitting in his chair looking like a mess."father, you're not dressed, and you desperately need a shower." He looks at me as i raise my eyebrows at him as i sit." have you been here all night?" he nods and clears his throat." Ive been going through the treaty, and along the way i found some papers in an old file" he looks at me and then looks away quickly and i narrow my eyes at him." what are the papers about?" he quickly shakes his head and stands up shuffling papers and putting them in his desk and locking it." not now Sita, we have papers to sign with the Prince and matters to deal with" he walks over and kisses me head." we will talk about the papers later,foe now go get ready. The council is coming for the signing" i nod and he leaves, shutting the door behind him. leaving back i close my eyes. What in the world is going on? ever since James came to the castle everything's been weird. father is acting weird, he never stays late and especially never lets himself look like that when he might have to go and see people at any moment. sighing i stand up and walk out heading to the council chambers. ugh i hate the council, they are nothing but stuck up lords who own alot of land. each lord represents a supernatural group though, theres the witches, shifters, Fae, and demons. And of course the vampires but my father is the king so he represents them. And now if everyone agrees and makes peace, James will represent the werewolves, and he will potentially be the first werewolf to serve on the council. you see werewolves have stayed at to the north and dont stray into our business. but recently war has been going on, well not so recent for about 100 years now we have been fighting the wolves who dont want us on their land but they have something we need, and that is to capture the ice beasts, who are very valuable.

Reaching the council chambers i shove the door open and im created by the men of the council. i smile at them and nod politely but i refuse to speak to them, they are all very rude and think nothing but of themselves. i take my seat next to father and we all wait for James to arrive. yesterday he was shown where the council chambers were so he wouldnt get lost. It takes only another five minutes and the door is pushed opens again and in walks James, i hear some low growls and whispered insults and i snarl in their general direction and they stop. i peek at James and he gives me a small smile and takes his seat next to me. Father stand up and speaks addressing everyone, " Today we welcome James, Prince of the wolves. he is here because we are all tired of this long war that has been going on." he takes a pause and looks at everyone." we are gathered here to listen to talk about the agreement to be made." he sits down and nods to James to stand up. he clears his throat and i look at his face to see his eyes have gone cold and his face is like stone." Its my please to be here" he bows his head," The King, contacted me a few weeks ago asking me to come here to talk terms of peace and we have. my people are to keep the deep North to the border we currently hold" protests broke out and i tired of it, standing up i slam my hands on the table and bare my canines," Silence! all of you. let the Prince speak." they glare at me and hold their heads high but i can see the fear in their eyes. i smirk, good they better fear me. i am the kings daughter aafter all even if its not by blood. James nods at me and continues." as i was saying, we will keep our border. And its has been agreed that we will trade some ice beasts, but mind you they survive in the cold and are rare. we will not trade alot for that would mean the extinction of a race and i will not permit that. second, i have agreed to let other supernaturals come live in the deep north if they wish, we will open a spot on our border for those who wish to live there. we have built a few villages for those who go." he stops talking and sits down and the talking breaks out again and i tune them out, father will set them straight and soon enough he does. He stand up " its decided, for war to end we all agree to you're terms, Prince James of the wolf people." father bows his head to James and we all follow suit. i grin and stand up, " well now that that is out of they way, you all can leave" they all glare at me at the same time and i smirk and head out the door.
