Graystripe and Snowpaw walked triumphantly into the camp, both with a mouthful of fresh kill. A certain fire-colored warrior approached the pair, with Moonpaw by his side. "You've caught lots, I see. Your mother would be proud." Fireheart said with a sad smile. "Fear not, you will learn lots to fufill her legacy. I know you two both wish to do just that." Moonpaw and Snowpaw shared tongues before settling in the small apprentice den.

While day faded away and night settled in, Snowpaw could hear her sister shuffling around. Snowpaw stretched her paws before padding over to the other side of the den. It was mostly empty because many apprentices were becoming warriors. Snowpaw observed the distressed look on her sister's face. "What's troubling you, Moonpaw?" Snowpaw inquired. "I.... I don't want to be a warrior."
