Kitty wore a dress that perfectly matches her hair.

Is it wrong to say that she's perfect? I know for a fact that she isn't. But for me, she is. I approached her and offered my hand to her. She gladly took it as we walk towards the venue.

All we did was talk and talk to each other. No one bothered to greet us and we feel like we're invisible.

Soon enough, as the night goes deep, people started enjoying the party even more. Kitty and I were having fun by the buffet table and eating what we want.

"What if I get fat?" Kitty asked as she munch her cupcake.

"I'll still love you," I laughed. She was shocked for a second, then laughed with me afterwards. Yes, this is a sign. That I should confess to her tonight.

Kitty is such a kid. I mean by her attitude, she's as kind as a kid—you know what I mean. And she does not tell lies. I am pertaining to the age where kids still doesn't know how to lie. And she's just as sweet as them.

But Kitty's mature too. She makes good decisions. She thinks wisely. She don't speak like a baby. Well, most of all, she's a bit strict that kind of reminds me of my mom. Sometimes Kitty would snap at me like: "JK, you need to learn how to study on your own. What if I'm not with you anymore? How can you study, eh?"

I smiled.

"Hey, why are you smiling?" She waved her hand at me. "To... no one in particular?"

"W-what, me? N-no I'm not—"

My sentence was cut off by a loud burst of party music. It's the part where everyone can dance in the middle of the venue to the beat of the music.

"They can immitate you but they can't duplicate you..."

This song rang out of the huge speakers on each side of the venue.

"Come on, JK!" Kitty said, grabbing my arm. "Let's dance!"

I let her drag me into the crowd of partying peeps and we stopped somewhere spacious. At first, I was just standing there. Then Kitty started swaying her hips and clapping to the beat.

"JK! Dance!" She demanded. The music was so loud but I guess it's not loud enough than my heartbeat right now.

She started doing her awkward dances but for me it's not. She's just happy, and that's how she shows it. I finally joined her and I too, started dancing.

"Yeah! Hahaha go JK!" She laughed. We danced awkwardly there but we don't care. No one gave us any attention anyway. I felt contented now that I'm with her tonight.

Most of the people were tired and went back to their tables but Kitty and I stayed together with some others.

The DJ decided to change the music. This time, it's for the slow dance.

It seems like Kitty was surprised of the sudden change of song because she seems to be enjoying dancing.

"Are you tired?" I asked her. She looked at me and stopped dancing.

"No," She answered shortly.

Kitty took a step closer to me so I took the chance to place my hands on her waist.

"Would you like to..." I trailed off because she already placed her hands on my shoulders. I take that as a yes.

I have to admit, Kitty's my first dance ever and I don't know but I cherish it like a some kind of treasure.

"Kitty," I called.

"Yeah?"

"You're my first dance ever." I said. She raised an eyebrow and continued swaying. "Really?"
