Zayn’s POV

Me and Georgia had decided that there was no better time to tell Bonnie about us than now, but I was the one who had to do it. I shoved on a pair of football shorts and a vest top before fixing up my hair and turning to Georgia,

“Are you sure this is what you want?” I asked, slowly wrapping my arms around her waist.

“Not really but we need to tell her, otherwise my dad will.” I stepped back shocked,

“Your dad knows?” She looked down at the ground.

“He went through my texts and caught me; I was going to tell you but not yet.” I sighed and pushed it aside,

“Anyway, I’ll text you later to tell you how it goes.” She nodded before giving me a quick kiss and heading off for a shower. I grabbed a bottle of water and made my way over to Bonnie’s room, I knocked on and it straight away swung open to reveal a smiling Bonnie.

“Hey, do you want to go somewhere? Like on a walk?” Her face lit up,

“Yeah, sure.” She grabbed some shoes and slipped them on before locking up her room and setting off down the stairs, I followed closely behind.

“So I’m thinking we go down the far side of the beach?” I say, not wanting to be out in public just in case we saw the guy from last night.

“That’s fine, it’s more private.” She giggled, I felt slightly disgusted but I continued on anyway.

We arrived at the beach within a good thirty minutes and all I wanted to do was rest, I sat down a few metres in front of the sea and looked out, it was beautiful. Bonnie sat down next to me and I could feel her creeping closer and closer, so I scooted over a little.

“You alright?” She asked, I nodded my head and sipped my water.

“Just thirsty.” I lied; we began speaking about random things such as school, pets, the future and all the rest. We were pretty far into the conversation when I felt Bonnie smash her lips against mine; I pulled back shocked and widened my eyes.

“Whoa.” I said, that was unexpected.

“What?” Bonnie said, giggling flirtatiously. I shook my head,

“Nothing…” a playful smile appeared on her lips,

“So why didn’t you kiss me back?” I felt a slight panic run through me,

“Just… you know…” I mumbled, unsure on how to answer.

“So you have no real answer?” I shook my head; little did I know Bonnie thought this was an invitation for her to make another move. She kissed me once again and I pulled away, just as I should.

“What’s stopping you Zayn? Is there another girl?” as much as I wanted to say yes, I couldn’t break Bonnie’s heart. She was so kind to me when I first met her, and I did sometimes flirt back with her. No wonder she got the wrong idea, I shook my head again.

“Don’t you think it’s just moving a little too fast? I like you as a friend Bonnie.” She shrugged her shoulders looking a little hurt,

“It was a mistake, sorry.” She stood up and walked off down the beach, leaving me on my own by the sea. I ran my fingers through my hair and sighed, I needed to tell Georgia. I pulled out my phone and typed

‘Hey babe, it didn’t go to plan. She left before I could say it :(x’ and hit send, this was going to be hard.
