This Is War

I turned around a there stood a man and a women both with a "W" on their forehead.

"What do you want?" I said.

"What do you have in your bag?" the man asked.

"Nothing that concerns you." I answered. "Give it to me." the man said. Then I just flung my crossbow up and threatened to use it, they began to get closer in defense with the knifes in their hands. "Step away!" I said.

Then the women ran towards me and I shot a crossbow through her chest the guy stopped for a second then came running towards me, I used my crossbow to knock him down. He got back up and kept coming towards me, I couldn't shoot him too he was too close for me to pull up my crossbow in time, so I pulled out my pocket knife.

The man fought me and even cut me on my stomach a bit I managed to pull him off me and knocked him out.

Out of breath I stabbed the women in the head and began to tie the man on a tree.

He woke up a couple hours later, "What do you want?" I asked immediately. "Everything you have." he said. "How long have you guys been watching us?" I said.

"Since we found out you were here." he said. "How many of you are there," I asked.

"Too many ." he answered. "What are your people planning against mine?" I said.

"You're not supposed to be in there, they sent my friend and I here to keep an eye on you guys, if they see that we don't return, they'll come looking for us and it wont be just one or two, but all." he said.

He was right, they would come looking for him and we needed to be prepared we needed to attack first. I didn't know what to do at that point, so I buried my knife into his head, I couldn't let him go he would only tell them that I killed that women and come for us anyway. While they waited for their return I had time to warn my people. So I hid the bodies, and headed back to the camp. I came through the front door, "What the?" asked Phillip who was at the gate, he saw me covered in blood and panicked immediately coming down to open the gate.

"What happened?" he asked.

"Where's Jason?" I asked. He pointed to where Jason was standing with a group of others. I began to walk his way and when he noticed me he ran to me. "What happened?!" he screamed. The others ran behind him. "I heard what you said Jason, about someone following us, so I went to go find them?" I said.

Jason was pissed now, he began to pace back and forth as I continued talking, "I walked the perimeter of the camp and found two of them who have been spying on us, they've got the W on their foreheads and said they wanted everything we have. They're coming for us Jason!"

I shared with the strong ones of our group what I had encountered and told them they were planning on attacking once they noticed the two I killed do not return. Jason was mad at me, he claimed I caused a war but I didn't, I might have just saved us.
