Stevie's POV
Once I reached the front gate I had noticed that there was no gate keeper and that the font door of the pack house was open. Which is unusual because this house is so heavily guarded and protected. As I made my way up the old wooden stairs I noticed that there was blood on the floor and leading towards my mothers bedroom. I began to sprint towards her door and then as I tried to open the door it was jammed so I shifted and then backed up and ran as fast towards the door and barged it down.
Then I saw my mother lying on the floor bleeding to death and her last words were
" stay strong beautiful you will be ok with out me now go and help the other members before the hole pack is destroyed the alpha and lunar are dead and the other fled please go before your are hurt as well "
As the tears rolled down my face my mate walked in and he hugged me and then we payed my mother to rest in peace and quite then as i walked away slowly and though to my self what am I gonna do I have to go with my mate now there nowhere else I can go and my father won't take me in cause he left me.
So as we slowly walked back to the our spot with the small lake and water fall were we met. I had this feeling that so thing was missing and I don't know what it is.
Somethings not right we aren't alone there is something following us it's not right I have a feeling that it is the blood howlers.
" hey babe we need to get outta her before something happens "
" ok I know a short cut follow me "
As I followed miles my gut feeling was getting stronger like we were getting closer and closer to trouble then we were ambushed by a bunch of hunting blood howlers there was know way that we could escape and then I heard a scream coming from the house and a fight going on it mush have been the alpha protecting the pack and his mate who is skylar. And then I brick outta my comfort zone and shifted only this time I wasn't my normal wolf only this time I was pitch black with a white streak through my fur. Miles jaw dropped to the ground and bounced back up he was gob smacked and I was too but this is no time for staring it time to fight back and kick some blood howler ass.
As I started to fight I noticed so did miles and then I was killing them in the minutes that as we made our way to the house there was blood and dead wolfs everywhere like I mean everywhere. In a way I was kinda proud of my self in a way because I have finally left my comfort zone and learn the ways of the rouge and finally having a mate who doesn't know that I'm going to be having a child to.
Once the last of the howler had left or were dead on the ground or the floor I go and find Fly to talk to her cause she had a mate but lost their child at birth.
