Heather's pov

I stared down the sidewalk and jn the distance I saw a door. Hmm..I wonder what is behind that door. Oh I know! I should ask Valerie. "Hey Valerie. Are we going through that door"?

"Yes. It's going to take us back to Earth".

To Earth?

"Where are we now"?

"We're jus in the pathway between Heaven and Earth".

Whew. I thought she was going to say between Heaven and Hell.

She started walking down the sidewalk and I followed. Wow. How do I all the sudden feel weird to walk? Like I'm floating almost.

It's like Valerie could read my thoughts. "If it feels weird to walk its because you are floating but it looks like your walking to the human eye. And ghost for that madder".

"Oh that makes sense".

We continued to walk for what seems like a hour before reaching a golden door that looked like a regular house door. On the sides of the door was clouds but I couldn't see through them.

"Valerie, do I have powers"?

"Not yet. Your still a young ghost. After 24 hours your powers will start to kick in and I can teach you".

"Wow that's so cool".

"Yeah. Now I need you to walk through this door and when you get spit out on the other side of the tunnel just wait for me".

I nodded my head and carefully grasp the golden door handle. I walked through the door and instantly felt like I was flying through a bunch of rocks but the weird thing is it was just rough but it didnt hurt. Wow being a ghost is really cool! I was flying through and I heard a song come on before saying "this is for Heather to keep you company for the long journey". Soon one of my favorite songs came on. It was the song Boulevard of broken dreams by Green Day. I couldn't help but to sing along.
