It's a Saturday morning and the sun is shining so bright.
I can hear music and voices of people talking. There's noise all around.
This place has always been lively.
I want to go to a peaceful place; a place where I can think.
I went outside to go for a walk.
I see kids playing and I felt like I want to play too.
I felt tired. I decided to seat on the swing at the park and take a rest
Then I noticed a girl seating beside me.

I can hear her sobbing, so I faced her and saw her crying.
"Why are you crying?" I asked with courage.
She looked at me with her face filled with sadness
"I lost something very important to me" she answered
"What is that?"
She didn't say a word as she cried even louder.
"I'm sorry" I said sincerely
"It's alright"
"I wish I could help you"
"Really?" her eyes brightened a little
"Yes" I assure her
She had a 3 piece wooden puzzle necklace.
Each piece has something written on it. When combined, a message will appear.
She lost the center piece while she was playing at the park
The left and right pieces of the puzzle necklace are still with her.

was written on the left piece and "980" on the right piece.
"Let's search for the center piece. I promise we will find it today"
I said with confidence.
She nodded.
We searched in the bushes, the playhouse, and under the bench.
I dig randomly under the slide and found the missing piece
Someone might have buried it.
"28√e" was written on the center piece of the puzzle necklace.
She's jumping, smiling and crying at the same time.
I can see the happiness in her eyes.
"This necklace was the first gift my mother gave me.
I really love my family and this necklace is where I get my strength and courage
to face each day"
I was really moved. The girl in front of me is really strong at her age.
I am happy that I got to help her.
Suddenly, I noticed that the girl is vanishing.
A bright light is covering her entire body.
Her hands and feet are slowly fading.
"You" I shouted, scared and wondering with what is happening.
"I am a ghost. I died a day ago in a car accident with my necklace shattered"
"But" I'm still in shock
"It's okay, I'm now contented. Thank you for everything you have done for me." I can hear the calmness in her voice.
"This is for you" she said while reaching her hand to me. She's giving me her wooden puzzle necklace.
"What's your name?" She asked.
"I'm Mark, Thank you. I don't know what to say."
"It's alright. It's not normal to see a ghost you know." She laughs.
I simply smiled. I don't feel afraid anymore.
"It's time. I'm hoping to see you again Mark"
"Wait!" I still have questions in my mind. I forgot to ask her name!
"Angela" I heard her say before she completely disappeared.
I think that's her name. Maybe she can read minds,
I went home feeling a little crazy. I'm happy for meeting that little girl and I'm sad because there isn't much time to get to know her more. I want to see her and to talk to her again.
I looked at the wooden puzzle necklace she gave me and combined all the 3 pieces.
It says "128√e980"
"Is it a code? An equation? I don't know the meaning of the message. I'm losing my mind!
I looked at a different angle and still haven't figured it out. So I looked at the back of the necklace and the instruction says "cover the upper half"
I followed it and smiled as I see the message.
"I love you"
