I rushed through the New York crowded streets, dodging a few people so I didn't make a complete idiot of my self and drop my coffee. But, just my luck, I carried on running and jumped right into a puddle, great. I have absolutely no time to go home and change, I sighed, checking my phone and groaning, 3 minutes to be there, I looked up to see the huge building standing tall, my eyes scanned all the way to the top to read, 'hemmings industries', I nodded, running into the building. I bet you, 5 dollars that the boss is an absolute douche. I took the elevator up, too tired for stairs, looking out of the glass windows, I admired New York City. The beautifully created buildings smiled as the sun light beamed down on them, I smiled too. The elevator beeped and stopped, I walked out, smiling as I walked to reception. There were two women sat behind the desk, a dark haired woman and a light haired, sipping their coffee, laughing and smiling. I coughed, getting their attention.
"How may I help you?" The dark haired one answered, grimacing at my outfit. "I'm here for an interview with mr Hemmings," I replied, smiling sweetly. She nodded, ringing a bell. A woman with blonde hair came out, smiling and took my coat. She led me to a big brown door, knocked on and then walked away.
"Enter," said a husky Australian man. I walked in, coughing slightly before then closing the door. I turned around and he was finishing a phone call, he gestured with his fingers for me to sit down. I smiled, walking over to the black chair, I neatened my skirt then sat down.
He thanked the person at the other end, then ended the call. He looked down at his records and smiled, "Jessica Green?" I shook my head, "I'm Ellie- Eleanor West," I smiled up at him, "Jessica is ill and she asked me to cover for her." He nodded, smiling, "so instead of missing her interview she decided to send such a pretty woman to cover?" He chuckled, "do you even know anything about the business?" He asked. "Well I know it's a writing company, for magazines, publishing books, autobiographies, biographies, writing newspapers. You just couldn't think of a name that would suit it so you decided to name it, 'Hemmings industries'. So as a matter of fact, I do know some things about your business, just not a lot." I replied, tucking a piece of hair behind my ear.
He smiled at me, stood up and sat right next to me, "tell me about you," he said. "There isn't very much to tell," I chuckled, "well I want to know anyway." He smiled, admiring the structure of my face, I laughed before nodding, "okay, so I'm Eleanor, but, I prefer Ellie, I was born in England, but brought up in Canada, I then moved to New York when I was 19, I drive a shitty truck, living on minimum wage with 4 jobs, and only having £230 pound coming in the household every month isn't a very well structured life. My dream is to pursue my art work, but, I'm not good enough," I chuckled to myself. "More." He demanded, I nodded, "I live with Jessica, and her partner, my parents divorced last year so," I shook my head, "I didn't want anything to do with either of them, although I do speak to them sometimes, I guess I matured, I'm also studying biology, sociology and art at The University Of New York, I graduate in a month so I'm hoping I come out with some good grades." I sighed, chuckling, he nodded, "you're very interesting."

"So what happened?" Jess asked as I got back. "You got the job, I got his number," I chuckled. "You got Mr Hemmings's number?!" She screamed. "He said he found me 'interesting'," I laughed, pulling my laptop out of my bag and loading it up. "Oh, and that reminds me, you have your first report on 'should teenagers be aloud mobile phones?' Due in Monday morning." I nodded before walking into my room and closing the door. That night I researched, 'Mr Hemmings' to find that if he would like to date a girl, he has to sign a contract, as well as her and go through a process with his lawyer, to state that there is 'no sex until marriage' and it basically covers all the grounds of, 'if you cheat, lie or mislead Mr Hemmings, you will be sent to court' stupid right? I thought so too.
Maybe Mr Hemmings wasn't that bad, he's kind of mysterious too, not knowing his name is a big clue to that.

I hope you like the first part to 'Mr Hemmings' I took some of the inspiration from 50 Shades of Grey but this Fanfiction isn't going to be dominant/submissive or too much about sex, it's just basically going to be about love, and some sex😂.
Thank you, Rhi😘.
