The summer of my life

Day 2

"RILEY! GET YOUR ASS UP MARIA DOESNT HAVE ALL DAY!"my mom yelled from the side of my bed.

I quickly sat up startled from the sudden noise

'Shit' I cursed under my breath

My mom left by this point so I got up and headed for the shower

I washed my medium  length dark brown ombré hair.

When I get out I just throw on gray skinny jeans and a tank top, I then blow dried my hair and put it into a fishtail. I pull a hoodie on and chick on my black vans.

I grabbed two of my three suitcases and dragged them down the stairs

When I got down my mom and Maria were drinking coffee around the kitchen table

"Morning" Maria said cheerily, "morning" I replied in a dull tone.

I made a cup of my MOST FAVOURITE DRINK IN THE WORLD.....Hot chocolate mmmmm, so anyway once I was finished making the delicious drink I sat down in an empty seat around the table. I stared at nothing while I held my cup with both hands and slowly drank the hot chocolate. I almost forgot about everything i got told the night before and my mood suddenly dropped, i mean i couldnt go to Dubai and I couldn't spend the summer with my best friend....Maria intrupted my thoughts

"Riley do you want to put your stuff in the car then we can get going?"Maria suggested

I took 2 of my suitcases and put them in the back of maria's car.

Then i ran back upstairs to grab my other one and took it downstairs. I put that one in the car aswell and went back inside to say goodbye to my parents.

When i walked in the door my mom pulled me in for a hug, i hugged her back and we both pulled away. "bye riley i hope you have fun ill miss you" my  mom said and kissed me on the forehead, I hugged my dad and said our goodbyes and then i got into the passengers seat of Maria's car.

"are you ready?" Maria asked, i nooded my head yes and we set off.

after about a 12 hour drive from arizona to california we were finally here. i looked out the window and saw this pretty big house. It looked really homey.

We both got out of the car and I took one of my suitcases and followed Maria inside.

When we got inside we were met with about 5 boys all wrestling in the living room, woah I didn't know she had this much kids especially boys, please say there not all hers...

Maria whistled loudly. All the boys stopped and turned round.

''Right boys, Introduce yourselves''

''I'm Oliver'' He looked about 5 and had blonde hair and was just adorable,

The next one spoke up, He had light brown curly hair ''I'm jack and this is my twin Taylor'' I looked beside him and saw a boy who looked identical to him. they looked about 13/14

''I'm Nathan'' Nathan had Chestnut Brown hair,he was really tall and He looked about my age

And the last boy was a really tall guy with dark Blonde hair, He looked older than me.''I'm Liam''

Maria Spoke up ''We're missing one, Where's Blake?'' She question

She just got ''I dont know''s In return

She turned to me and smiled lightly, ''Im sure you'll meet him soon''

''Nathan show Riley up to her room'' she Instructed

Nathan motioned for me to follow, We went up a set of stairs my room was the first door on the right, I thanked Nathan and entered, The room was a decent size with Pale blue walls, It had a desk, a closet and a little couch in the corner, I really like this room,

I began unpacking since some of the boys took my bags up and man i sure did bring a lot, a knock on the door startled me "come in" I called to whoever was on the other side of the door, I looked up and saw Taylor, I smiled at him and I got a slight smile in return,
"Dinners ready" he informed me
" okay thanks" I replied, with a quick nod he left the room, I got up and decided to leave the rest of the stuff for after dinner.
As I was making my way to the kitchen I crashed into someone.
I muttered a "sorry" and looked up to see who it was, I saw someone I haven't seen before, he had messy brown hair and light brown eyes, my eyes unintentionally were drawn to a small birthmark above his right eyebrow. This must be Blake, well he's easy on the eyes I guess-

"Are you done?" He asks impatiently

"Sorry I was jus-" he cuts me off "staring at me like a creep, who even are you?" He asks in a bored tone
"I'm Riley and I'll be staying with yours for the summer"I explained
"Why? Did your parents want rid of you for a bit?" Ouch, that hurt i decided to not show it
" well if you'll excuse me I'm going to head down to dinner" I said politely, I'm not going to let him hurt me... and with that he walked away grumbling under his breath and I was left to go down to dinner in peace.
