It is January 5th. On December 27th, a well known, and accomplished rapper was murdered, at the age of 46. His sudden death shocked the world. Veterans, rising stars, and loyal fans have gathered today to celebrate his life and legacy. Throughout the day, there will be a myriad of tributes in his honor. We begin our tribute with his wife on the podium, ready to give her eulogy to her late husband.
"To my King,
You were one of the greatest men to ever walk this earth. A king anointed by the Universe. I am so grateful that our Creator made me for you and made you for me. Our love story will be a testimony to the fact that love is real. I want to thank you for being the man of my dreams, for being my partner, best friend, lover, teacher, and the one who the Creator entrusted my heart, mind, and soul to.
No one knew our story better than us. Through song, art, teaching, speaking, writing, whatever the gift may be, we've used that as a platform for empowerment. Every time we shared our story, our truth, it liberates us because the one who frees another, becomes freedom. Our story is someone's freedom, and when we tell it, we told the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth...unapologetically.
I want to thank you for these past fifteen years together, and even if we've also gone through difficult times, shed tears, you were always by my side, pushing me to succeed and to be grateful for our life together. I owe it all to you. I love you. And I will miss you. Thank you."

As the Queen steps down from the podium, we turn to the monitor to see a video montage with various clips of the late rapper, with the song, "I Miss You" playing, followed by the King's last words in the video:
"More rewarding than being recognized for your work, is the opportunity to continue to achieve, and inspire. With such an exciting world in front of us, one should never feel they have nothing left to achieve. We are all gifted. That is our inheritance."
