Recap:
Jay intertwined his large hands with my small ones and sighed. He then lifts his heavy head off of mine and places a gentle kiss on my forehead."Jay!! I'm going to pick up your brothers and sisters, are you two going to be ok by yourselves?" Cheryl screamed from the kitchen somehow managing to keep her voice angelic. Instead of Jay answering his mother in the living room where we were, he stood from his former crouched position and walked into he kitchen where Cheryl was cooking dinner. I could hear bits and pieces of their conversation, but I wasn't up to listening in on their business. Since I was sitting up I tried to look around the house. The walls are a burnt orange and the house is accented with many light and dark browns with hints of beige. Padded footsteps began to move swiftly in my direction at the same time as the front door shut. "Do you wanna go up to my room so you don't have to deal with my brothers and sisters?" he said scratching his neck nervously. Instead of answering I took this time to really look at him. His poofy hair really fit him and his playful hazel eyes, his skin is flawless with a killer bone structure, and his lips are just wow. He noticed me checking him out and plastered a smirk on his flawless face. At that moment things were different, he just made everything seem different. I can't describe how it feels to be around him, but all I know is it feels nothing like I ever felt with Mason.
Jay began to walk towards me. He crouched down in front of my legs and stared deep into my eyes. He then leaned in close to my face and parted his lips. He leaned in closer brushing his lips over mine, but before he could kiss me the door burst open with screaming kids running to the kitchen for dinner. He let out an agitated growl before sighing and backing away. The disappointment and agitation was prominent in his eyes before he lifted me gracefully from the couch. "Look at Jay"..."I bet that's his girlfriend"... "She's hot"..."She's a little to big for my liking" Said many of his brothers and sisters, but the last comment hit home; it also stopped Jay in his tracks. He sat me down on the stairs leading up to the second story of the house. He started to stalk towards the origin of the comment, but I grabbed his hand and stopped him. His eyes softened at the sight of my own fear filled eyes. I tried speaking to him, "Itsth not worth ith". I trembled under his gaze, then he took his hand from mine and continued to walk towards the kitchen. I tried to pull myself up and succeeded; I used the wall as my guide to try and get to a point where I can see into the kitchen.
The once loud hustle and bustle of the beautiful kitchen set into a deep silence, except for a small murmur; where Jays voice was very adamant. A chair was forced from under someone and two sets of footsteps made their way through the door. Jay had a boys neck in his hand, the boy looked around 16, just a year younger than me. He brought the boy to where I was standing and shoved him towards me, I stumbled back in fear. He regained his balance and his composure, I then took a look a him; he looked just like Jay. His hair is the only thing that's different, it's short and super curly with a dark brown tint. "I'm sorry..." Jay slapped his back, signaling him to continue, "I'm sorry for calling you fat," he sucked in a sharp breath "though you are" he mumbled. Jay whirled him around and hitched his fist in the air, but before he could throw a punch, Cheryl ran from the kitchen and began to scream at Jay, but his position never changed.
All this chaos has my head spinning, so I slide down the side of the wall and hug myself. I just wish the yelling would end. The yelling starts to fade as a collection of feet start padding in my direction. His arms wrap around my small figure and lift me close to his body, which rumbles and it at one point boomed. He put me down onto his bed and crawled in behind me and wrapped his arm around my stomach pulling me closer to him. He then planted a kiss on the back of my neck. "Sweet dreams thickums", he said with a chuckle, and with that I was out for the night.
