How Did I Get So Lucky?

Chapter Thirty-One

*Ella's POV*

"Today was the day" I thought to myself.

The amount of nerves I was feeling right now made me want to throw up!

"This can't be happening!" I said as Beth zipped up the back of the dress with ease. Thank goodness I stayed with the wedding diet and weekly workouts.

"Oh, but... it sure is!" Emily squealed behind me. I looked through the mirror and I rolled my eyes at Emily. The months leading up to this day have been extremely hectic! Planning the venue, dress, invites, and decorations. We were very lucky to have so much help from everyone.

If you haven't realized yet, today was my wedding day. After a year of knowing Niall, he gave me a promise ring. A year and a half after Niall gave me the promise ring, he proposed. It was perfect.

*Flashback*

"Ella, I want to show you something." Niall said to me.

I was confused but didn't argue.

"Alright? Where are we going?" I asked, hoping into the car.

Niall put the key in and started the car.

"Our favourite place." He smiled.

I shrugged and looked out the window. I smiled when I realized we were heading to the Willow Tree.

"Come on!" Niall said jumping out of the car running to my side and grabbing my hand, pulling me out. I started laughing.

"Whats the rush?!" I asked.

"I want to have a talk with you." He smiled.

"Okay." I smiled.

He pulled me down to the Willow Tree and I smiled at the scene. Niall had set up candles going around the whole tree, there was a bench underneath the tree with plush pillows and everything. He pulled underneath the tree and we both sat down beside each other.

"Ella.." He started looking very nervous. "From the moment I met you, you never left my mind. Not one second, did I ever stop thinking about you. You have made me a better person, and I even started seeing it in myself. I miss you whenever you are not with me and I coudn't bare being without you. Whenever you ask me why I love you, a million reasons go through my mind. Why do I love you? Because you are the most amazing person I have ever met in my entire life. You have been through so much and still manage to stay grounded. I think back to the day when I met you here, and I can't thank God enough for it. You have changed my life in an amazing way. I will never hurt you, I will cherish you for as long as I live. I know this is going to be hard and we will have our ups and downs but I know we are good for each other and we are meant for each other. Ella McLander, will you marry me?"

"I would be honoured to." I smiled.

We shared a kiss that would last a lifetime.

*Flasback Over*

"Ella! Snap out of it!" Alyssa laughed as she put finishing touches on my make-up. I laughed and shook my head.

"This still can't be happening." I said in disbelief.

"I would slap you but it would ruin your make-up." Alyssa rolled her eyes. I was the first out of the whole group of us to get married but I am sure the rest of them won't be too far behind us.

"Okay, your almost ready." Danielle glowed.

I looked into a mirror and I looked gorgeous, if I may say so myself. I felt beautiful looking into the mirror . I was so in love with Niall and I couldn't wait to start our lives together. My hair was curled and put into a bun on the top of my head. My dress was strapless and had a sweet-heart neckline. The top of my dress was fitted and the fabric was pulled over to one side with a diamond pattern on the left side. The skirt was many different layers of white fabric. It was perfect.
