Sierra POV -

OMG CODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to see him again! I'm getting the feeling that he doesn't like me, but I ignore that. Last year we were Freshmen and Cody asked me out!!!! Okay, I admit, I forced him to say it, but its on tape SO ITS REAL!!!!

Gwen POV -

I could care less about being a Sophomore. I mean, I like school and learning and stuff, but things have been awkward between me, Duncan and Courtney so I don't feel like reliving that drama.
As I walk into the academy doors, I get greeted by two people I DID NOT expect. In fact - they're the two people I was planning to AVOID.

"Hey Gwen!" A peppy girl says in a peppy voice.
I recognize it automatically. I look up to see the brown short haired annoyance. I ignore. Duncan is even following behind her, staring at her super tight jeans showing off her butt. If you couldn't tell, that peppy girl is COURTNEY.

I walk straight past Courtney and Duncan, to my locker, and unload my bag. I grab my textbooks that the teachers set up in our lockers and head to the hallway bulletin board.
There was a piece of paper that said everyone's classes. My first one was Social Studies. I automatically remember hearing Cody saying Sierra was in that class too this morning on my way inside the school. I roll my eyes in disgust.
Duncan POV -
Sure, you could say I like a lot of girls. I like many. But nobody tops off Courtney. Yes, we've had our ups and downs, but we've even dated! I like how she loves me, and when she's mad she's tough. Pretty damn tough if you ask me!!!! That's how I like it, though.

When I walk in my first class, Social Studies, I see the two people I didn't want to see: GWEN AND SIERRA. Gwen because our relationship and being around each other moments have been pretty awkward. And then Sierra, well, we all know what's wrong with her. Cody - o - holic. In other words, FREAK.
Since all the seats are filled with many different students not including Courtney, I sit in the last seat - behind Gwen. Sierra is also behind me so I am just hoping that this class will end quickly.

"Good morning students! These seats you have picked today are permanent for the rest of the year."
Once I hear that sentence I automatically drop my knife that I was using to carve stuff in my desk with. The metal on the blade makes a loud jingle noise when it hits the tile, and all eyes are on my. I turn to the teacher, whose arms are crossed and staring at me. I slowly pick up the knife. When I look back up from the ground the teacher is right beside my desk. I hand over the knife and he writes me up a pink slip. I shove it in my pocket filled with sharp glass shatters, a pocket knife, and 2 other pink slips I got this morning for repeatedly skateboarding on school property.
I look over at Gwen, who seems to be smirking at the fact that I got a pink slip. I lifted up my hand as I was ready to flip her off, but the teacher starts talking.
"Today you will learn about Illinois government," The teacher blurts.
"Why Illinois?" Cody shouts out.
Sierra shoots her head back to stalk Cody while he talks.
"Because I said so," The teacher replies.
I roll my eyes at the thought of learning. Gwen sits up eagerly as if she wanted to study Illinois. I give her a demonic death stare, but unlucky for me she turn her back. I look down as if I didn't do anything, but I could tell Gwen saw my evil looks. She raises her hand, which automatically makes me get up. I knew she was gonna tell on me, so I walk out to the bathroom.
I sit on the toilet in a stall. I wasn't even going to the bathroom, I was just waiting for Gwen to be done tattling and hopefully the teacher would give up punishing me since I wasn't in the room. But that wasn't what happened.
I could see Cody's red and black childish Darth Vader velcro shoes under the stalls as he walked in the door. "Duncan, Mr. Gunkee wants to see you when you're done in here," Cody says. I giggle at the sound of 'Gunkee'. Cody leaves and after 2 minutes I walk out. Everyone is staring at me when I walk in. Mr. Gunkee looks furious. He turns around and shows me an ice pack on his butt.
I had no idea what he was showing me this for. I don't wanna see his butt! "I know you put that tack on my chair," Mr. Gunkee says. I look over at Gwen and she evily winks at me. I automatically realize that she must've told the teacher I put a tack on his chair! I swear I did not, so she's gonna get it. Mr. Gunkee hands me a pink slip, and the bell rings. People all pile out and I grab the slip from the teacher. I shove it in my full pocket and run out the door.
