You groggily open your eyes, shuffling your head along the pillow so you wouldn't have to move and scratch at it. The world around you was streaked and blurry, and mess of colors and light. A heavy weight on your chest and hair in your hand reveals Steve, lying on top of you, snoring softly as he clutches you in his arms.

For a man his size, he really wasn't that heavy, and it was comforting to have him on top of you. He murmurs in his sleep, his eyebrows furrowing in concentration. Then he's relaxing, kissing your shirt sloppily. His lips scrunches up in distaste when he's met with a mouth full of cotton and lint.

You watch this performance in a daze, humming to yourself in amusement. When you kiss his hair, he stirs and tilts his head up, puckering his lips sleepily. You giggle and tap his nose, making the corner of his lips turn up and his eyes to blink open.

"Good morning, beautiful."

"Hey, handsome. What were you dreaming about?"

He hauls himself up so his lips are right by your ear.

"You."

He starts trailing kisses down your neck, nipping at your collar bone. You giggle as he plays with your hair, using his grip to tilt your head back further. You let your eyes flutter shut as he strokes small circles into your scalp, his nose brushing your skin with each kiss.

"Steve, I only have half an hour before I gotta go to work. It's already 6:30." You struggle to push him off, but he doesn't budge.

"Steeeve." This only causes him to kiss you even more passionately, now moving from your neck to your lips as a gasp escapes you.

"Actually, you have an hour and a half. Besides, it's Sunday." His voice is rough, hot air flowing against your mouth as he speaks.

"But....an hour and a half?"

"Daylight savings, doll. We gain an hour." He slips an arm under you and rolls over onto his side, pulling you to him like a teddy bear as he continues to kiss you in the blue hours of the morning. The bedroom slowly brightens as Steve pulls and pushes you in and out of sleep with kisses and murmurs. He can't help but stare at you every now and then, how you scrunch up your shoulders when he brushes a ticklish spot, or how your soft lips form that perfect 'o' when he does something just right.

Its reassuring to know that something so normal exists in his life. Someone who isn't afraid of him, but rather encourages him to challenge the world. Someone who knows him outside the cameras and the interviews.

Someone who loves him for who he is.

Steve nuzzles his nose against the column of your throat, and you realize he's been thinking. He becomes all cuddly when he just wants to appreciate what he has, when he realizes after a long day that you're there no matter what.

You tuck your head under his chin, slipping an arm around the bust of his chest. "I love you, Stevie."

"I love you more. Go to sleep, I'll wake you up when breakfast is ready."

"I wanna help, wake me up before." You snuggle into him, sighing when he wraps his arms around you and plants a soft kiss to your temple.

Thanks for the time, Mother Nature.
