Meanwhile, Brigit was a little terrified herself. She had no idea what anyone wanted her for or why she was treated the way she was, but she knew well enough to keep quiet and do as she was told. Halden terrified her but she had never met the leader of the pirates and the thought of what he would be like hadn't even crossed her mind. Now that she was standing in a cabin, across from a guy sitting behind a desk, reading a magazine, with his feet on the desk, she realized that had been a mistake. Of all the people to worry about and be afraid of, she should have feared him. It took a few moments of her standing there before the boss folded his magazine, placed it on the desk and put his feet on the ground again. For a second, he looked surprised to see her and then he regained his composure and smiled.

"Hello Brigit, don't you just look a picture. Held captive for three days, no chance to shower, just little bottles of water and a sink. You look damned good." Griffin approved, looking her over with interest as Brigit glared back at him defiantly. She suddenly had a terrifying thought of why she was wanted by the boss of the pirates. But if he thought he could lay one finger on her, she was going to have to break it off to prove that it would take a lot more than a smile and flattery to seduce her.

"Who are you and what do you want?" She asked angrily, unable to hide the feeling from her voice though she suspected that it would only work against her. Instead Griffin's smile grew as he leaned across the desk, looking far too interested in her for her liking. In fact, he looked far too interested for Scott's liking as well. He was standing at the back of the room, ignored, but he wasn't blind to the obvious interest Griffin had in Brigit. She was there for information only, and it was true that they had made sure that Brigit had never spotted him on the ship before, and therefore he had never seen her face, but it was no excuse for the way his eyes fell over her.

"I have what I want princess, don't you worry about that. My name is Griffin and that's all you need to know." He informed her shortly, before turning to look at Scott with a sigh. "Take her into the back room, tie her up and lock her in." He ordered casually, shocking Brigit with the extent of her capture. It was as if she was some kind of escape artist and she felt a little insulted at the lack of information. She was given no explanation, no basic human right of freedom and was going to be bundled up in some stodgy back room, awaiting the time when the almighty pirate lord decided he was going to have his way with her. Well, she wasn't going to let it happen.

Scott grabbed her arm and pulled her into the back room, the door of which was just to the back left of Griffin's desk, before pushing her inside and shutting the door behind him. Brigit heard nothing from the other room as she fought with Scott, kicking and screaming, trying to get past him and towards the door leading back into the office. She didn't care if she had to fight past Griffin or not, as long as she was one door closer to getting away from him. But Scott was a lot tougher than he looked. With a twist of her wrist, he quickly had Brigit under control, wincing as he dragged her towards the bed in the back room and threw her down on it. As she kicked out, he grabbed her ankles and tied them together with a rope he pulled out from under the bed. It seemed everything had been planned for her arrival and it frightened Brigit.

Once her ankles were tied and her wrists were tied together, Scott lifted her from the edge of the bed and placed her to sit leaning back against the headboard, as if to make her more comfortable. The whole time he never spoke but she detected some kind of reluctance in his moves, that suggested he didn't like her and didn't like her being where she was. If it hadn't been for the gag he put in her mouth at that moment, she would have tried to talk some sense into him, pleading with him and encouraging him to let her go. But, from that moment on she was well and truly silenced.

Seeing her more comfortable, Scott left the room, leaving Brigit to take in her surroundings. The room was pretty much empty except for the necessities of the bed, a few clothes in the open wardrobe and a few papers sitting out on the dressing table. She knew that her only chance of escape was to undo her ties and get back out through the office where Griffin was sitting.
