A/N: this story is inspired by my new third fave yaoi couple. At the end of this story ill mak a list of my yaoi list. I actually got an idea for a fanfiction from a cute little comic which I definitely will add in one of the chapters. This is a death the kid x soul eater Evans fanfic. It is yaoi so those who are not fans Leave while you can. Those who are fans enjoy the story and I will warn you it's a little slow at first.
KID'S POV. .VOP S'DIK
It was a normal day. I was on my way to the DWMA with Liz and Patty. As always I fix the unsymmetrical posters on the way. I also stop to repost the signs on phone poles (damned asymmetrical things). Liz began griping about us being late again. Patty just laughs and stares around in such a childish manner. Just like always. It's going to be quiet and boring. Maka is leaving on a mid-school year vacation to go and visit her mother. Black*star and Tsubaki are headed to the assassins convection for the next month. Liz and Patty will be missing school today due to some request of my father's. I feel as if it'll be too quiet. I find complete silence nerve racking. It always makes me a little paranoid. Though I wouldn't express feelings as childish as this to my friends. We approach the school faster than normal. Liz and Patty begin to walk around the to back of the school as father told the to. I climb the school's steps. Today I would have to face the isolation. As I reach the top step I sense a soul. It's familiar. I look all around me. I shrug it off after eight minutes. (I threw in a little humor into the seriousness😝) As I approach the large and BEAUTIFUL, symmetrical doors of the school I feel the souls presence strengthen. I felt that since it did me no harm that I wasn't nervous or anything. I began to open the doors as a hand reaches out and pulls me behind a large gap by the door.
"Shhhhhhhh" a familiar voice whispered. It was Soul! Soul covered my mouth and looked by the front of the school. He poked half his head from the wall that hides the gap.
"What... Are you doing?!" I hiss as I pry his hand from my mouth.
"Checking for your little weapon entourage." Soul said sarcastically. So like him. I pry him off of me while he is still looking around frantically. I dust of my outfit and brush my bangs back to their symmetrical positions. I ignore those cursed three lines. I turn my attention towards Soul.
"What do you want?" I said not showing any form of me being phased by that sudden attack. Although I am now slightly irritated. He turns to me and glares. It's not full hearted though. It's only to show that he is urgent about something.
"Look, Kid. All I want is the house key. And don't even try to play dumb! I know Maka gave it to you. She gave it to you specifically to embarrass me." Soul seemed very honest about what he was saying. I let a curious look slip on my face by accident. Then I had an obvious and rational thought.
" How would me having the key embarrass you?" I questioned just to satisfy my curiosity.
"I have something very private that Maka found out about and thought that it would be a good idea to embarrass me by giving my Key to you. She took that something and put it right I front of the door so you and your entourage could see it." Soul seemed a little frustrated explaining it all.
"Why Liz, Patty, and I specifically though?" I wondered aloud.
"Because Black*Star would just brag about how not everyone can be as flawless and as big a star as he is. Tsubaki would join Maka in enjoying it but Maka doesn't want to deal with Black*star at the sane time. She thinks since YOU'RE The only reasonable and logically guy friend I have that it'd be fun to show you. She Knows Liz and Patty will tease me about it too." Soul grew even more anxious. It was in his eyes. If I didn't give him the key he'd be really upset.
"Why did you need to make sure Liz and Patty weren't with me though?" I asked as any normal person would.
"Ugh" soul groaned. " Because if they heard about this then they would take the Key and look!" Soul said loudly. I suddenly realized that this was extremely important.
"Okay. I'll give you the key. On one condition." I told him. I'm late for class all the time and it wouldn't make a difference if I skipped a day so why not?
Soul's POV
I saw Kid reaching for the door. finally! I've been waiting here forever. I grab Kid and pull him into the gap.
"Shhhhhhhh" I hiss to shut him up. I covered his mouth. I poked my head from the wall to check and see if anyone else saw.
"What... Are you doing?!" Kid hisses prying my hand from his mouth.
"Checking for your little weapon entourage." I said partially sarcastic. I honestly didn't now what else to call Liz and Patty. Kid dusted of his outfit and fixes his bangs so they look "perfectly symmetrical" I see a partial scowl when he sees the stripes in his hair. I almost let out a chuckle. He turns his attention towards me. Shit. He's looking right at me. I can't stand those double-ringed golden eyes.
"What do you want?" Kid says. He doesn't seem phased about me jumping although he sounds pretty irritated. At least I got something good out of jumping him. So I explain to him that I only want my house key. He kept asking questions which is starting to get on my nerves. I don't like being so close to him. I can feel his soul wavelength. We've been going back and forth on questions and answers for a while.
"Okay. I'll give you the key. On one condition." Kid looked at me with a mischievous glint in his eyes. I could tell this isn't going to be good.

Kid: LIZ DO SOMETHING!!!
LIZ: I can't do anything ask maka
maka: DONT DRAG ME INTO IT IT'S SOUL'S PROBLEM!!
Black*star: HAHAHA I'D BE HAPPY TO HELP YOU MAKA AFTER ALL NOT EVERYONE CAN BE AS BIG AS ME. HEY BANDGEEK PREPARE TO FEEL MY WRATH
Tsubaki: black*star don't do it you know she can beat you
Black*star: NO WAY
ME: Oh really. that's it now im pissed. *starts typing* well im gonna cut it off here im leaving the second Excalibur shows up
