A/N: IM SOOOOOO PUMPED ABOUT THE DEMI LAVATO CONCERT IN TWO DAYS. I know it was delayed but here it is. Chapta four
Normal POV
Cara and soul stood in shock.
"Wait a minute. YOU kidnapped Kid?" Cara asked, dumbfounded. "Just to fight blair?"
"No. Not JUST to fight her. I also wanted to meet the scythe that defeated the keishan (I think I spelled that right). I knew I had to lure you by taking your friend." Shad spoke. "Don't worry. He's fine. Totally unharmed. I wouldn't dare harm a fellow reaper."
"Where is kid?" soul demanded.
"In the building to your left."
Soul rushed off. Hearing Cara's voice fade as he burst through the door.
"KID!!!!" soul shouted as he walked through, looking for the young reaper.
"In here!!!" a voice called. Soul rushed in the direction of Kid's voice.
" Dude. Holy shit." Soul stopped as he saw Kid's arms tied to the wall. Kid's jacket was lying on the ground and all of the things in his pockets were lying around it. "Hold on." Soul began untying Kid's arms.
After a little work (and by that I mean Soul being unable to untie the knots and curing it with his scythe arm), Soul freed Kid. Kid began to put on his jacket.
"Thank you for saving me." Kid said coolly.
"No problem." Soul smiled. "Lets get out of here."
"Agreed."
Soul and Kid ran outside to see Cara dodge a magic pumpkin.
"That all you got furball?!" Cara shouted at Blair.
"Not even close sweety. I'm just getting started~ Pumpkin pum pumpkin, HALLOWEEN CANON!!!" Blair blasted another pumpkin at her. Cara dodged it easily.
"Shad!" Cara turned.
"Gotcha!" Shad changed into a sword. Cara caught him and ran up the side a building. She jumped at Blair, sword aimed.
"Pump pumpkin!" Blair launched a gigantic pumpkin in their way. Cara smirked.
She sliced through the pumpkin with ease. Blair kept throwing pumpkins. Cara would jump off of one and slice through another. At about the seventh pumpkin, Cara jumped off of it. She threw up the sword and began to transform herself.
The sword changed back into Shad. Cara transformed into large, double sided scythe with skull shaped spikes floating above the top an bottom. It had a blade at each end. Shad caught her and lunged at Blair who threw out one last pumpkin. He slashed threw the pumpkin and spun the scythe around. In a split second, Blair was in half. Her soul floating just above the ground.
Shad landed and Cara changed back. She swallowed the cat's soul.
"Ahhhhh that was good. Sweets have nothing on a fresh soul." Cara sighed.
"How did you defeat her so easily?" Kid asked astounded.
"They're three star miesters. They quit school because they had finished all there studies. They're both reapers, weapons, and miesters." Kid looked at Soul as he spoke.
"No Fare!!! now I'm down to seven! I won't let you win. Pumpkin pum pumpkin BLAST!!!" Blair blasted a tiny pumpkin at Cara. She moved her head to the side.
The pumpkin hit Soul's head, making him fall forward. When he fell, his lips pressed against Kid's. kid's eyes widened.
Cara got a nosebleed and Shad let out a whistle. Soul's limp body slumped against Kid. With a lot of effort, Kid lifted Soul up. He was out cold.
Cara offered to drive Soul's motorcycle to his house and Shad helped Kid carry Soul home. Once they got up the porch steps Shad said his goodbyes and left.
"How weak. Being knocked out by a pumpkin." Kid grumbled. He then thought about the kiss. He blushed and pushed it out of his mind. "No way. It doesn't count. He was passed out it was an accident. There's no way that counts as my first kiss." Kid shook his head. Kid pulled out Soul's house key and began to unlock the door. "I wonder what Maka set out for me to see that he wanted to hide so badly."
As Kid entered Soul and Maka's apartment he saw it. Soul's diary, sitting on the coffee table. Kid laid Soul down on the couch and put a blanket over him. He then picked up the diary.
"Well, Maka obviously thought I'd et a kick out of it." Kid opened it up to the first entry. After reading the page, his eyes widened and he set down the. Diary and looked at Soul. He never would have thought that a guy like him would hide such a big secret. He never knew that Soul...
