I can't ever say 'hello' to you

Not because I have

Forgotten your name

Or 'cause I don't care

About your possible pain.

But the opposite actually.

'Hello' is painfull and harsh

When I still remember

I still feel.

'Hello' can't ever say

All the things that

Still live inside.

So I pass, and I smile,

Please let it suffice.

That I hide my pain

Inside

Behind this effing

Wall of pride.

And hope that

You'll not find

All the things

I still feel inside

Behind a simple 'hello'

My heart decided to hide.
