It's 8 o'clock on a Friday Night.
It's suppose to snow soon.

I turn on the radio.
We're both silent
You're eyes focused on the road.

Welcome To New York.
"What are we doing in New York?" I ask curiously.
I'm usually never this quiet.
"You'll see," he says.
I close my eyes to then be awaken,
By a tap on my shoulder.
"We're here." He says.
"Okay now what's really happening?" I say.
"Cadence my love, I wanted to run away with you for the weekend. I wanted us to escape from everything. I wanted to be able to get to know the real you better without everyone we know watching our every move. What better way then to escape to one your favorite cities and to stay in a hotel room at the plaza with you, just you this weekend?" He says all in one breathe.
"Ben I'm speechless and I'm so happy at the same time that you took me away from town. I needed to drown out the world and what better place than her with you. Yeah it's a humongous city! But let's just get lost in the city that never sleeps."
We walk towards 200 & 5th Ave.
We stop our tracks directly in front of
Tiffany & Co.
You grab me by the waste.
Our eyes meet, where your free hand
Moves towards my cheek.
You lean in a kiss me

Like if they've known each other forever.
I pull away
Leaning my head back seeing the city past by us.
As if time has sloan down

You tell me,

You spin me around.
We walk to the plaza and check in
You carry me to our hotel room
Lay me carefully on the bed.
You take off our shoes
Unbutton my coat
You take yours off & slip them off your tall frame.
I sit up
This time I stand up
Cupping my hands to your face
Kissing you passionately.
We shower and head to bed.
For we have an adventurous day
Ahead of us in the near future.
We hide under the covers
I stare at your face
Realizing how lucky I am
To have a great guy like you
In my life.
I've fallen for you, and so have you.
And I've run away with my love
