3. Almost There (From "The Princess and The Frog")
Fairytales can come true, you gotta make em' happen, it all depends on you
.
The following morning, Harry and Louis woke up at their apartment, each with a raging hangover from the night before with their friends.
As Harry regained consciousness, he became more aware of his surroundings. He could feel Louis' arms wrapped securely around his waist, and the light breaths from his boyfriend's lips against the back of his neck.
He moved a little bit, scrunching his nose up as he slowly woke up, which also made Louis squirm, tightening his grip on Harry as his leg snaked forward to wrap around his boyfriend's.
Harry smiled a little at that, Louis being all protective, and snuggled back into Louis' embrace.
His eyes remained closed as he laid there, listening to the sounds of the city on the streets below as his headache thumped along in the back of his head. For a while it was peaceful, and Harry felt happy, regardless of the pain in his head, because it felt like the whole world had stopped, and it was just he and Louis.
Soon enough, he felt light kisses on his back, moving from the nape of his neck across his broad shoulders and down his upper arm.
"Mmm," Harry hummed as he leant further back into Louis' arms, so that the older boy could press kisses to his cheek. "Good morning."
"Morning." Louis hummed between kisses, tickling Harry's cheek and making him giggle. "How you feeling?"
Harry closed his eyes as he leant his head back on the pillow, turning so that he was lying on his back, Louis leaning up on his elbow as he stared down at him.
"M'head hurts." Harry mumbled, opening his eyes to look up at Louis' sparking blue ones. "You?"
"Yeah," Louis chuckled. "Bit of a headache. Want me to get some asprin?"
"Please." Harry nodded, so Louis leant down and pecked his lips before slowly climbing out of bed.
The older boy stopped and waited for his head to stop spinning before he continued to the kitchen, made two cups of coffee and grabbed the whole packet of asprin, seeing as though he had a feeling they wouldn't be leaving the bed at all that day.
When he went back into the bedroom, he was met with an adorable sight. Harry had fallen back asleep again, starfished out in the middle of the bed with his mouth slightly open.
Louis paused for a moment to admire his beauty, smiling at his amazing boyfriend and wondering to himself how on earth he got to lucky as he meet a boy like Harry. He was so damn cute, and loving, and just perfect. Louis knew he would never let him go.
He'd been thinking about it for a while now, and somehow in that particular moment, Louis knew that he wanted to do it. He was going to ask Harry to marry him.
They'd been together for 5 years, and loved each other every single minute of that. Louis knew that it was right, and was almost certain Harry would say yes. Honestly, he'd actually had the ring for a few weeks now too.
He just wanted Harry to be all his, forever.
The only thing he needed now was the perfect moment to ask him.
He walked fully into the room and placed the mugs and packet of asprin down on his bedside table, before climbing back into bed.
He smiled as he crawled over to him, kneeling beside him as he bent over and pushed the boy's hair out of his face.
