Rose Between Two Thorns.

Chapter 13

This is the second half to the last chapter, I had to split them so that one chapter wouldn't be too long. Anyways on with the show!!

"If you were stuck on an island and were only able to have two things with you what would they be?" George asks. I think for a moment.

"Well, obviously I would have my wand, and possibly..........a backpack full of food." I say, pulling my hair out of its braid and brushing my fingers through it.

"How you can think and do your hair while hanging upside down worries me." Fred sighs looking up at me from where he is lying down under the tree. Grinning down at him, I pull my hair into a bun.

"It's called having trees at home and being an adventurous kid Freddie" I laugh, poking my tongue out at him. He retaliates by doing the same.

"Guyssssss, you aren't even playing anymore!!" George complains, leaning back on his hands and shaking his locks out of the ponytail I had forced him to have.

"You came up with weird questions Georgie" I whine back.

Basically we had been playing a game of 21 Questions, but the twins insisted on calling it Questionnaire Extraordinaire. I was bored of the game and had climbed up the tree and hung upside down on the big thick branch, while they asked the most ridiculous questions.

"Freddie" I call down from the branch. He looks up at me.

"Can I put your hair into a bun?" I ask.

"Hells no" he protests placing his hands on his precious hair. "It's gotta look good for tonight!!"

"You bum" I blow a raspberry at him, but he laughs and rolls away.

"You guys got the things ready for tonight?" I ask, pulling my shirt up to cover my midriff.

"Most definitely" they chorused. Grinning, I hold onto the branch with my hands and slowly flip off, only to land on my butt next to Fred.

"Owww" I grumble rubbing my tailbone. Meanwhile the twins are rolling around in the grass, laughing their heads off. Cursing silently I stand up and walk over to one of them who is near the water's edge and slowly, with my foot, I push him into the water.

"Oh no, you've had an accident" I say sarcastically as he splashes around in the water. "Whatever can I do?"

"Maybe you could join?" a voice behind me sniggers. I barely have time to turn when I am pushed into the water.

"Damn you Freddie" I grumble, attempting to stand up.

"Payback for trying to tie my hair up" he sniggers.

"I have to admit, your hair would look good in a bun" i insinuate "We could call it a......a man-bun!"

"Tabitha" a voice calls out before Fred can reply. I look up from wiping my hands on my pants to see Hermione running towards our trio.

"Yello" I answer.

"So this is where you've been!! You told us to meet in the dorm at three! Its half past four Tabs" she says, out of breath. I face palm.

"Crapballs" I mumble. I turn to Fred. "I have to go, see ya later" I say reaching up and giving him a quick peck on the lips. "I'll meet you outside the Great Hall." He nods.

"Okay time to go" Hermione says, as she grabs my hand and starts to drag me up to the Gryffindor tower.

"You, my friend are all made up" Katie says to Abigail, as she applies the last coat of lipstick to her lips. "Now my turn". Abigail grins, and they switch seats.
