"Do you live by yourself?" I asked him getting out of his jeep. We had just reached his beach house and I had only now thought of the important question. I would feel so awkward if he didn't.

What if his whole family is there? He'd walk in hey mum hey dad here's this chick I met at the airport. Yeah, awkward.

"Nah, I bought this house a while ago and figured I'd stay here for a change," He said.

Okay so he was living alone, that's good, I think.

Together we walked into his house. I left my bags at the door, not exactly knowing where to put them and he gave me a little tour. It wasn't big but it wasn't small. But I realised he only had one bed, which I'm not exactly surprised with.

"I'm guessing you must be pretty tired so you can sleep in my be-,"

I cut him off, "Nope, nup, nah, you aren't pulling that gentleman shit on me, I'm sleeping on the couch, you're sleeping on the bed. You can't and you won't change my mind," I said to him.

He just smirked, which made me blush a bit. "Well at least let me make it," He said trying to do something.

"Okayyyy," I replied to him. And with that he walked off to go make my couch, bed.

I looked to the left and saw that he had a couple of picture frames up on the wall and of course being the nosey person I am, I walked up to them to sus them out.

There was one photo of him and a cute little puppy.

It was a such a cute puppy I nearly died.

Then there was a photo of what I guessed was his family. It had started to get dark so I couldn't exactly see everyones faces, but I could see that it was his family. It was one of those 'family photos' where everyone his heavily photoshopped and you all stood in lines.

There was one last photo of him and a girl with brown hair and brown eyes. I couldn't exactly see because of the sky getting darker, so I automatically thought it was his girlfriend.

This of course made me feel really awkward, because I'm staying in this guys house. I can't stay in a taken guys house that's creepy! Especially if like the girlfriend walked in and was all like 'honey i'm ho-who the hell is this' I'd be like probably walking around with no pants on knowing my luck and it would just get really awkward.

When Dylan walked back in, I didn't stop myself from asking. "Is this your girlfriend?"

He walked up to me. He was close, and seeing that I am a very cuddly person, close was good, even though I only just met him. Once he saw the picture he laughed, "No, that's my sister," He replied.

"So you don't have a girlfriend?" I ask.

"Why? Are you interested?" He asked taking a step back so I could take in his appearance.

I laughed, "Well you know it would be awkward if I was staying at your house and your girlfriend walked in." I said, not denying or agreeing that I was interested.

"Well no, I don't have a girlfriend," He finished.

I was some what relieved. All I can think about is how awkward it would have been if he did actually have a girlfriend.

Once Dylan and I set up the couch bed, we sat and talked for ages, just getting to know each other. It was just a bunch of random questions that I could easily answer.

"Leah, can I ask about what happened earlier today?" He asked me.

I didn't want to shut him down, I really didn't. I wanted to open up and tell him every single shitty thing about my life. But i just couldn't. It was to soon, especially after what happened today with Eric. I looked to a clock on the wall and I saw that it was 8pm. Did time really go that fast? Did we seriously spend like three hours just talking about random things. That was the sort of friendship I wanted.
