Chapter 6

Kath POV

''Kath go show Joe around,'' my dad said

'' Okay,'' I said before turning in my heels.

'' Follow me,'' I said as I walked back upstairs with Joe following me

'' This is my brothers room,'' I said as I pointed to Daniel's room.

'' This is the bathroom,'' I said pointing to the bathroom on the right.

'' This is my dads room,'' I said pointing to the left.

'' And finally this is my room,'' I said opening the wooden door

''Nice room,'' Joe said looking around

'' Thanks,'' I said sitting down on my bed

'' Where did you come from?'' I asked

'' Swanquarters,North Carolina,'' He said sitting down next to me

''Never heard of it,'' I said

'' Its a small town,'' he said with a country accent.I laughed

'' Why the country accent?'' I said

'' I have a country accent,'' he said

'' Why didnt you sound like that downstairs?'' I asked confused

''Because usually country's accent make us sound dumb to people when we first talk to them,so we use a English accent,'' he smiled

''Hmm very smart,'' I said.We sat there in awkward silence.

'' How old are you?,'' I asked breaking the silence

'' Im 18,you?'' He asked

''17!'' I smiled

'' You are really cute,'' Joe blushed

'' Thanks,you are not so bad yourself.'' I smirked.I am so going to get use to flirting

For the rest of the night we talked about everything and anything.He was absolutely wonderful.It feels like Ive known him forever.

''Dad can Joe sleepover?'' I asked my dad

'' No,'' my dad said

'' Please dad we wont do anything,'' I begged

''No,goodbye Joe see you tomorrow.'' My dad smiled at Joe who was behind me

''Fine,'' I gave up walking Joe to the door.I wentoutside and closed the door.

'' I guess I'll see you tomorrow,'' Joe said

'' How bout you sneak to my room tonight?'' I asked

'' Eyy,wont we get in trouble?'' He asked

'' I've done it many times before,'' I said but soon realized what I said.Joe looked at me confused

'' Um with my girlfriends,'' I played off

'' Oh.'' He said

'' Yeah,my dad always said that they couldnt sleep over so we'd sneak,'' I lied

'' Wow oh okay then,'' he said

'' I'll text you when to come,'' I said

'' Okay see ya,'' he said kissing my cheek and walk away...
