*still in 3rd grade*
"Finally!" I say as the last bell rang which means it's time to go home and chill! I was walking,alone,past a little park that looked fun! Little did I know I see the new kid,Jack! I walked away as fast as I could hoping Jack will not notice me! But, obviously, he spotted me!! Jack ran after me and asked, "hey you're....Chloe..right??" surprised he remembered my name! I replied "yeah you're Jack aren't you?" "Yeah..can you stay for a little..to play?? He asked, obviously nervous. What should I say? I thought to myself. Then I remembered,I had Cheer Practice!! "Oh..sorry can't! I have cheer practice later! Maybe next time!" I said kinda sad I couldn't play! "Oh..it's fine..anyways have fun at cheer!"Jack said kinda pissed off! "Oops! I should've said yes!" I thought to myself. But my mom would kill me if I didn't go to cheer.
So I said bye and walked back home.
1..2..3!! My Coach counted since we didn't have music so we had to use counts! "Alright guys! Practice is done! Have a good rest and have fun!" Yes! Cheer is done! I shouted. I packed all my stuff and wiped off some sweat. I walked to the car park when I left the building and saw my Dad was there with my Sister, Caroline. "Hey Sweetie! How's Cheer?!" My dad asked trying to cheer me up. "Super Tiring!" I replied. "Well we made Mac n Cheese at home, hopefully that'll cheer you up! My dad says as we went to the car and drove home.
*at home*
"Mom, can I go to the backyard to play?" I asked. "Sure honey! Just be careful!" My mom said. I squealed in delight and went to the backyard to look at the stars at night. I went to sit down on the grass until I saw Jack, again, right across the street also looking at the stars! "JACK!!" I screamed loud enough to get his attention. He looked at me, confused, as if why I was here. He came over to my backyard and asked "you live here? That's great cause I live right across the street from you!" He seemed to be happier! " yeah I do! Now we can see each other Everyday now!
Hopefully you guys enjoy this chapter! I know it's boring, but my Creative juice is not flowing well today😂 have a blast today! Btw next chapter will be when they are in high school already since the 1st two chaps are just flashbacks to when they first met!
