I Didn't See It Coming

I peeked at the glass of our classroom's door. I was relieved to see that the theology professor has already left. I opened the door and everybody was looking at me. Like, Hi blockmates! I didn't kill anyone. I just ignored them and they went back to their own businesses. I looked for my friends, Bea and Cheska. As soon as I found them, I headed to where they are.

"Hoy Via, bakit di ka pumasok sa Theo? Tinamad ka no?" Cheska asked me accusingly

"Hoy hindi ah. You wouldn't believe what happened to me earlier" -Me

"Oh ano? Kwento. Dali. Bago dumating ang prof" Bea nonchallantly replied

"Muntik akong maholdap kanina"

Their faces were in shock, in disbelief until cheska laughed hysterically.

"Eh ayan yung iPhone mo oh! Imbento ka!" Cheska said while laughing

"Muntik nga di ba?" Bea clarified it to Cheska. "Ewan ko sa'yo." Bea added

"Oh anong nangyari?" Bea asked

"Eh ganito kasi yu-"

I was about to explain everything to them when our class president, Myka, announced "Guys, wala tayong English and French today. So uwian na". My blockmates were like prisoners that were freed after a long time. They were all shouting and jumping at joy. I turned to ask Bea and Cheska if they would already like to go home.

"Maaga pa eh." Bea answered "tsaka wala rin tayong gagawin sa mga bahay-bahay natin" she added

"Oo nga. Kwento mo na lang muna nangyari" Cheska seconded

"Sige lunch muna tayo doon ko na ikukwento." I said while picking up my bag then we left the room.

"Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiihhhhhhhh!" -Bea

"Hoy pugita! Bakit? Anong katili-tili doon?" Cheska said with the tone of annoyance

"Bakit? Ang galing kaya ni kuya! Super bait niya! Bihira na lang kaya ganong lalaki." Bea explained herself

"Sabagay may point ka" -cheska

"Grabe talaga. Knight in shining armor! Di kaya siya na?" Bea jokingly said

"Ewan ko sa'yo! Tumulong lang siya na agad? Agad agad teh?" I chuckled.

We waited for the time to pass and we went our separate ways for the day. (LOL) I rode a tamaraw fx because of what happened earlier. May I say, it was a traumatic experience. I kept on thinking and remembering what happened earlier. I can't believe that a man, unknown to you, will still be willing to help you. He's a good man. I hope I get to know him and he'll stay that way. I don't why my heart beats like this as I'm thinking of him. I felt something. Something like a spark.
