"Stop!"
"Shut up and just go with it unless you want me to tell your mom that you've been provoking me." He says with no emotion behind his tone
He keeps going. He keeps touching me.
"Please just stop it" I cry.
"I said shut the fuck up!" Before I can answer a sharp pain shoots through my cheek.
**********************
"Wake up Leah!"I sit up quickly. Taking in my surroundings. I am relieved when I realize that it was only a nightmare. One I've been having way to much.
"Do you want to talk about it?" My brother asks.
"No." I answer silently.
"Leah this isn't the first time that you wake up soaking in your sweat, are you sure you don't want to talk about it"
"I'm sure." I try to smile but miserably fail.
"Okay I won't push it if you don't want to talk about it." He says defeated.
He then starts to make his way towards the door of my room.
"Hey" I say right before he's about to walk out.
"Yeah?"
"Thanks for checking up on me and always being their when I need someone to talk to" I smile, for real this time.
"No problem, I love you, goodnight" he says before closing the door to my room. Leaving me and my thoughts in the dark room.
**************I am now woken by the sound of my alarm beeping. With everything that happened this weekend I almost forgot that I am still I high school student.
I wish I was a senior and this was my last year of high school but unfortunately I'm only a freshman.
I decide to wear a white long sleeve shirt with a khaki colored scarf that comes with a matching beanie. To top it off I work my brown Andrea Boots.
I love the way my straight light brown hair looks in beanies. Thank god I have a lifetime supply of beanies.
I wish fall could stay here forever. But winter is right around the corner.
I grab my bag and slide it over my shoulder.
"Luke are you ready?" I scream down the hall.
"Yeah I'll be down there in a bit"
As I make my way to his black truck I feel a buzz in my pocket.
*Leah, where are you?*
*I'm still at home, I'll be at school in a few minutes*
*Ugh. Hurry up :(*
I put my phone up and get in the Truck. About two minutes before Luke gets in the Truck and starts the engine.
"So have you read the books the doctor has given you?"
"Yeah, a little" I lie.
"What did you think about it?"
"Can we not talk about that right now? It's way to early to be talking about this right now." I try to say as nicely as possible.
"Fine" is all he says.
I can tell he got mad by the way he was squeezing the steering wheel.
5 minutes later we pull up to the school with big black letters that spell "McCade High School".
I unlock the car door and step out, the cool breeze hits my face and I feel really good for the first time all week. As I enter the school I quickly spot my best friend, Jessica, standing by the vending machine. As soon as she see's me she shoots me an award winning smile.
"Leah where were you yesterday? English class was a pain in the butt without you."
"Sorry I wasn't feeling good so I stayed home" technically I'm not lying it's just not the full truth.
"Oh well I hope you're feeling better! But next time give me a heads up so that I don't come to school either" she half jokes.
Before I answer the bell rings cueing us to get to class. As I start to walk to class I notice a lot of people staring at me like I killed someone. Oh my God. They couldn't possibly know. Could they?
