Chapter 3: Aphrodisiac

Oh shit.

He is sitting right beside me. His eyes...god its so inviting! And mmm.. Ang bango niya. His perfume is so manly. I want to--

"Day! Hey girl! What can I get you?" I snapped out of my own little world. I didnt even notice that I was getting too close to him! I heard Johnny calling my name and I snapped out of my europhia.

"What was that Johnny?"

"Sabi ko what can I get you. Kanina ka pa wala sa sarili mo. What's wrong?" He sounds concern.

"Ca--cadillac margarita. Make it uhm...hard...I-im okay Johnny, stressed lang sa school and im just propably tired, katatapos lang ng hell week eh." Paputol-putol kong sagot sakanya. Kahit nakatingin ako sa harap amoy na amoy ko parin ang lalaking katabi ko.

Am I nervous? Why? Was it because of the guy beside me? I drop the thought na ninenerbyos ako. Like hello? I am Day Montehermosa, the heartless and stoic girl.

"If you say so. Wait till I finish making your drink and just enjoy! I'll be back"

Umalis na si Johnny patungo sa kabilang side ng bar upang simulan nang gawin ang drinks ko.

As I patiently wait for his return, saka ko lang naibalik ang atensyon ko sa lalaki na katabi ko.

I made my first move to get his attention. Sinadya kong hinulog ang purse ko sa side niya and surprisingly, he picked it up!

I smiled playfully in my thoughts and I told myself to calm down because the game has just began.

"Here, your purse..." God those eyes... He's not even trying to make it sexy! Natural na sexy na! I stared in his eyes for a bit, he has a deep whiskey brown eye color and long lashes that can hypnotize anyone. I moved down to his nose, matangos nice, and down to his perfect lips. Napalunok ako nang matitigan ko ang buong mukha niya. Hindi din nakawala sa paningin ko ang kanyang jaw line na nakakatusok, and his perfect body that fits in that white long-sleeve.

I only snap out of my mind noong nasa harap ko na ang purse ko. Kinuha ko yun sa kamay niya at sinadya kong masagi ang mga daliri niya.

Let's see if this works.

"Thank you...uhm mister?"

" Mister? Do I look old?"  He giggled in between.

You look yummy. I wanted to tell him.

"I dont know your name, what do you expect me to call you?" Bitch mode activated.

"Hey chill yo chikka why are you so agitated? My name is Maxon. Now please do tell me your name"

"I'm Day...And I am not agitated. Thank you, Maxon." I extend my hand to offer him a handshake.

But instead na ishakehands niya ang kamay ko, he lowered his head and kissed it.

Gentleman or breezyman? This guy is a player for sure.

We were interrupted by the coughs of Johnny. He's back with my margaritta and I gave him a thanks before leaving us again.

"Uhm, cheers?" Kinuha rin niya ang glass niya at nakipagcheers saakin. Sabay kaming uminom with our eyes glued to each other.

It was getting hot. I think the Cuervo that I drank kanina is now affecting me.

"So, do you like it hard?" he calmly asked.

"Excuse me!?" Nabulunan ako sa tanong niya!

"I mean do you like hard drinks. I overheared, you requested a hard mix."

Ahhh hard drinks pala. Akala ko naman kung anong hard ang tinatanong niya...Oh yes I love hard--hard drinks at kung ibang hard din yan, aba'y gusto ko rin...

"Yeah. I like hard drinks." As if naman masasabi ko yun sakanya, instead I emphasized the word hard.

Natawa siya. Aba na nagets niya ata? Siguro ibang hard ang nasa utak neto.

"Hard huh. Are you aware of the ingredients sa inumin mo?"

"No. Hindi naman ako ang bartender and why do I need to know pa." Sira ba siya? Bakit niya saakin tinatanong mukha ba akong google?

"Ang sungit. Tinanong ko lang kung alam mo."

"Sorry." Was I too bitchy? Palagi naman.

"Two of the main ingredients of that is an aphrodisiac." Napataas ako ng kilay. Ano kayang gustong iparating neto.

"Oh aphrodisiac is a--"

"I know what an aphrodisiac is, Maxon."

I am now assuming that this ravishing Maxon is either an HRM major or is a Medicine student.

"Aphrodisiac, an agent as a food or a drug that is held to arouse  sexual desires." I change my tone sa last two words ko, i made it sound...sexy.

Sinadya ko, bakit ba? I'm still in the process of teasing him. Nakita ko ang amusement ni Maxon sa kanyang mukha. Uminom pa ito sa kanyang drinks bago muling humarap saakin. Aba'y ang loko ay nakangisi na ngayon!

"Exactly. Saan mo naman nalaman yan? Are you an HRM major?"

"Im a med student."

"Oh wow. I didnt expect to encounter a medical student here, like me."

"Wow. I didn't expect too. I hardly see them here. Halos lahat sila eh nakatambay sa library mapa-day or night pa yan." Natawa kong sabi.

Totoo naman wala nga akong naging kaibigan na party goer like me na nasa medicine field. Halos lahat ng kilala ko eh ay nasa ibang field, either taking up business course or hotel and management.

"Mmm. You're right about that. Pero hindi naman lahat ay nerds sa field natin. Look at us. We're one of the life of the party!"

Tinawanan ko nalang siya as we both cheers our glasses. Hindi ko na namalayan ang tagal ng paguusap namin. I was drowned by his presence and little did I know, I was enjoying his company. Nakailang glass narin ako ng margarita at nakalahati narin niya ang isang bote ng Jack Daniels. I was about to take another drink nang iplay ni Tuck yung song na familiar saakin.

San ko ba yun narinig?

Ah, right sa movie ni Channing Tatum yung Magic Mike XXL. Shit nagiinit na nga ako dahil sa dami ng margaritang ininom ko mas naginit na naman ako nung naalala ko yung mga sexy dance ni Channing doon sa movie. And this song! This was the exact song na sinayaw ni Channing.

Wait.

I have a great idea. I cant help but to smile evilly. Enough with this sweet talk. Time for some wickedness.
