I Will Be Your Light

Chapter 1: DAY ONE IN SEOUL!

It is almost 2 am and I am still wide awake. This is my first day in Seoul, south korea. I cannot stop worrying about tomorrow, it will be my first day in seoul univirsity. I came all the way from england alone, due to my mom's busy schedule she couldnt come.

I got a scholarship from high school for korea, Its true i didnt wanted to come here first, but after thinking about that I would be away from many hypocrites and backstabbers for almost 5 years made me feel at ease, i really want to meet new people, have a different and a better life.

My name is Emily Scott, I am eighteen years old and currently living by myself in an apartment near the univirsity.

~~~next day~~~~

Once I entered the univirsity my heart started beating fast. "Its okay, time will pass by quickly!" I whispered to myself.

My first year in this univirsity will be learning the korean language, and when I pass it HOPEFULLY, I will jump to degree, i will be studying business administration, yeah thats not my dreams, it is my mom's.

I sat in class alone waiting for the tutor to come.

There were americans, they were talking in english, and mostly asians. Well, didnt knew some asians were that cute!

The tutor gave us a brief speech about this semester and excused us to leave a little early due to an urgent matter.

LUCKY ME! I hate lectures and classes tho.

I grabbed my book and purse to leave the class.

"Hello!"

I turned around.

She was an asian girl.

"Hi" I answered nervously. I hoped that she wont talk in korean cause i barely know one word!

"By the way I saw you since I came to uni, you looked kinda lost and nervous!" She said while smiling.

"Oh," I thanked god she spoke in english "really i--"

She cut me off. "Its fine! I am park shin hye. Shin hye."

"Nice to meet you shin hye! I am emily" i said happily.
