I Will Be Your Light

Chapter 4: Having a meal with a stranger.

I heard people talking in korean, but i couldnt understand. It was very noisy.

I opened my eyes slowly and found myself laying on a bed in a hospital. I got up slowly and the first thing i saw was the doctor and the guy standing in front of me.

When the doctor noticed me. "Oh, your girlfriend is awake" she smiled to me and left.

What? Girlfriend?

I didnt even knew the guy. He walked toward the bed. " Relax "

I stared blankly at him.

"I'm Tan's bestfriend, he asked me to take care of you because he had an important meeting in his father's company so he had to leave earlier. " He explained.

I didnt knew Tan's father owned a company, he must be rich, no wonder girls follow him around. I noticed that the guy accent was american , but he looked asian ! Weird.. he was cute and as tall as Kim Tan.

I stood up.

He grabbed my wrist.

"What the hell you think you're doing?!" I said in anger.

He kept staring at my face with a smile.

"I will call the po -"

He let go off my hand. " I am David Lee by the way"

I ignored him as I took my stuff and walked out from the hospital.

He followed me.

"Stop following me, ARASO?" I yelled at him seriously. Araso means understand in korean.

He shrugged. "I cant"

"Look, tell your friend KIM TAN, to stop annoying me, alright?" I said seriously. "Thank you for taking care of me, I dont need you to help me, just stop following me!"

He putted his hands in his pockets. "Lets have a lunch together"

I raised my eyebrow. " Fuck off " I walked as I pushed him out of my way.

I am not usually rude to people. I am just so lonely that I dont even know what to do or how to deal with people anymore.

"Why are you making it as it is a big deal? " He said. " Let us have a meal together"

I couldnt say no since I was so hungry. It would be good to eat with someone, better than being alone.

"I will pay for the food!" He said.

"Alright, you wont follow me around after that right?" I said without looking at him or stop walking.

"Deal" he said as he smiled.

We went to the nearest restaurant since I havent eaten anything since three days.

"The ramyun in this place is the most delicious one I have ever ate!" He said.

"Okay then, i'll try it" I said while looking at the menu.

As soon as the waiter placed the food on the table I started eating.

After I was done from my meal. I noticed that he was staring at me with a smile on his face and his hand on his cheek.

I slightly smiled. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

He smirked. "Your hazel eyes are.. breathtaking"

I looked down into my empty bowl sheepishly.

He pushed his ramyun bowl toward me. "You can have mine too I am full anyway."

I was too hungry I couldnt resist it! "Thank you" I said.

He grinned as he sat stright.

When we got out from the restaurant, I just realized how embarrassing I was, I ate two bowls of ramyun in front of him. Stupid me.

He stood right in front of me. "you eat very well, Emily"

It was the first time he pronounce my name.

I smiled to him. "Thank you for the meal"

He smirked as he leaned toward me and whispered to my ear. "Lets have another meal, soon"

I wanted to slap him at the moment, but he backed off and walked away.
