It felt like we had been walking for days. Our food supply surprisingly low and our water supply, about the same. Our feet ached and felt like we were stepping in pins and needles. Every step was a burden, especially when we got out of the city. We kept getting deeper and deeper into the forest and farther away from our home. We didn't know where to go, the only thing that mattered was to get away from here. It felt like hours when we finally got out of sight from the city. We thought that with all our loses we might never have luck shine the sun on us. That all changed when we found it. A safe haven for all of us to escape the deafening groans of the dead and escape the running. We finally found a way to escape death and sleeping on the cold, hard ground. It was a hospital, located about 20 or 30 miles west from the city. Your question, why was it built this far out? My answer, no one knows and no one cares for that matter. We walked in after about half an hour of gawping at this newly found haven.
