The Apocalypse

Chapter 9

I walked up a few flights of stairs to get to where I heard the noise. Out of nowhere a zombie jumped out at me. I slashed its head off with my katana and I dashed down the stairs to the room where we had been sleeping. They all awoke to me running in and slamming the door.
"What happened??" Tasha asked curiously.
"Just a zombie." I said quickly. We had to be careful, who knows how many zombies could be in this huge hospital. I heard it again, the crash and banging. I heard groaning, lots of it. There must be a lot of zombies now. I peeked out of the room and saw a horde coming in from the front door.
"We can't jump from the window so we gotta just make our way through the horde." I said, while panicking. We have to survive. We opened the door, slightly and booked it.
