Chapter 33
Louis' POV
I decided I'll go back to Doncaster for the holiday. Alone. I quickly packed.
It was cold and raining lightly. Silence filled the car. Maybe just maybe this is the time. I stopped by one of those all night convinient stores and bought stuffs. I thought to myself, This is the last face I'll see on Earth.
By the time I saw the sign to my hometown. I was very sleepy but I'm trying to stay awake. After a while I saw a sign for another town, I missed the turnoff. I spun the car around in the middle of the highway driving back in the wrong direction. I was driving too fast, I don't care.
Suddenly, two huge lights blinded me. The truck's horn blasted and I quickly step on the brakes though it was useless.
When I opened my eyes, there was glass everywhere. I was lying on the cold hard ground. "I fail to kill myself." I whispered to myself. You may ask, Why the hell are you trying to kill yourself?! You've got everything! Wrong. I already lost everything. My phone rang, But i cant find it. I slowly try to stand up, i felt a sharp pain on my back. I left everything behind, my phone, the car, my things. Scars on my face, wounds on my body, blood everywhere. I walked home even if the rain was pouring.
I can't say on how long i walked. But i did reach Doncaster. I stood outside my old house, wet and broken. I found the old tree house where we used to play, memories flashing back. I found the ladder and began to climb. I sat on one corner as memories bring me back to the pass.
I must've fallen asleep in the tree house. I climbed down to check the old house. It was neat very organized. Someone else must be living here now. I went up stairs to meet the new owners. Sadly, theyre not home.
I went to the library, the old books we used to read were still there. Someone was in there, I didn't notice his presence rather her presence. She was reading the book I used to read all the time. "Oh I'm sorry I didn't notice you there. I'll just... go now" I said backing out slowly. I didn't hear her reply. I went to the kitchen I know this is rude but I'm starving.
"Excuse Me?" A young lady's voice called out. That accent seems familiar. But who could it be?
