When Olivia pulled into the huge parking lot to the beach their was already tons of people their sitting on the beach.

"How early do these people get up to already be here." I said, as I grabbed my beach bag and towel out of the back seat of Olivia's car.  Olivia had already gotten her bag and was waiting for me on the other side of the car.

"Come on, Sade, we want to get a good spot on the beach!" Olivia said, as she slipped on her over-sized sunglasses.

"I'm comin'....I'm comin' don't get you panties in a bunch." I said, as I slung my beach bag over my shoulder and started walking towards the beach. Olivia walked right beside me holding her polka dotted beach towel.

"I'm so excited!" Olivia said, as we laid our towels down in the hot sand.

"I wonder what Jake's up to ." I said, as I laid down on my beach towel and put on my sunglasses, Olivia laid down on her towel next to me.

"You need to get over him." Olivia said, looking over at me with her dark brown eyes. Olivia was very pretty with her light blonde hair and skinny but curvy, but she didn't think it.

I sighed, "I know you never really liked Jake, but I did." I said, looking up at the bright blue sky.

"I never said I didn't like Jake I just always thought that you could do better." Olivia said.

"Really?" I said sitting up on my beach towel, I grabbed a mirror out of my bag and looked at my reflection, bright blue eyes, dirty blonde hair pulled into a knot on the top of my head, and a few faint freckles across the bridge of my small noses that my grandma always said I got from her and called a button noses. Over all I was just a normal girl I didn't see anything special about myself.

"Yeah, you are way to pretty to have been with a guy like him, your way to pretty to be with most guys...hell your prettier than me." Olivia said.

                         "Am not!"

"Are too!" Olivia said, and got up from her beach towel.

"Now, lets go meet boys!" She said, and started walking over to the snack shack. I jumped up and followed her.

"Um...I would like a small strawberry and peach smoothie." Olivia said to the guy behind the counter with a smile, her eyes twinkled, she was defiantly in flirting mode, I rolled my eyes.

"I would like a small berry mix smoothie." I said, and sat down on the round stools. The waiter behind the counter was cute he had straight jet-black hair that was cut fairly short, he had bright green eyes, and he had dimples when he smiled-dimples are always so cute!

Olivia had struck up a conversation with him and I don't even think she realized I was sitting next to her watching her practically fall out of her chair for this guy.  I couldn't help but let my mind drift off to Jake, he has dirty blonde hair that is almost brown but not quite and it is short and straight, but you can only see the sides because he always has a baseball cap on. He has chocolate brown eyes, very tan skin, and he is tall and a complete country boy.  I have a weakness for country boys.  Olivia and I have complete different taste in guys.  Olivia likes city boys, I like country boys, Olivia likes green eyes, I like brown eyes you can say that Olivia and I are complete different people.Olivia has had tons of boyfriends were I have only had two, and they were both very serious.  My first boyfriend was a year younger than me in school but he was older than me he had stick staight  dirty blonde hair and blue eyes that were almost pastel. He was really cute but after about a year I went to high school and we drifted a part.  I knew Jake he used to come to my house when we were little. My freshman year we became friends, and eventually boyfriend and girlfriend.

I was snapped back to reality when a bunch of guys came up to the snack shack and sat down beside me.

"Hey, I'm Owen." One of them said to me with a smile.

"Hi." I said quietly they were defiantly not my type.

"What's your name, babe?" Another guy asked.

"Um...Olivia, lets get out of here." I said looking over at Olivia, how didn't have the slightest idea of what was going on she was involved in a deep conversation with the guy behind the counter.

"Yeah, babe, whats your name?" The guy that was sitting next to me said and put his hand on my thigh.

"Get...you...dirty hands off of me!" I said, as I smacked his hand off me thigh.

He put his face so close to mine I could see every detail of his face."Why would I do that?" He whispered harshly.

I got up from my stool, "Olivia lets go!" I said trying to get her attention.

"Where do you think your going?" One of them asked grabbing my wrist.

"Let go off me!" I screamed.

"Hey, leave her alone!" The guy behind the counter said and punched the guy in the face.

"RUN!!!" The guy from behind the counter yelled at Olivia and I.

"Thanks soooo much!" I said, as I grabbed Olivia's wrist.

Olivia made the motion with her hands for him to call her and we ran away quickly we scooped up our bags and beach towels and ran to Olivia's car as quickly as we could.

"Wow." Olivia said when we were sitting in her car "That was crazy!"

"That's for sure!" I said and we drove away.
