Cerise's POV
---------------------------------------------- Kitty Chesire walks in the room. Oh no. This is going to be bad.
" Cerise? What the hex happened to your head? " she says starring at my ears.
I quickly lift up my hood and put it on.
" It's just a part of my old Halloween costume. " I say. I can't let her know I am part wolf. Especially Kitty Chesire.
" Why are you wearing part of your Halloween costume? Cerise, it's May. " she says curiously.
" I wanted to see what I looked like in them. Why are you in here anyways? " I say furiously.
" Oh, I was just trying to had out these flyers. It's for the Track Club. So far only me and the boys are signed up, and Coach Gingerbread still wants more. " she says. " Could you just maybe sign up? "
I grab the flyer from her perfect purple polished nails.
" I'll think about it. " I say. I don't know if I should. Every year, the clubs take pictures to go in the year book. And every picture I take, my body thinks the flash is the moon so my eyes glow yellow and I start to howl. Trust me. It doesn't go well.
" Why are you still standing here? " I say annoyed.
" Oh, sorry. " Kitty replies. Then she walks out.
I'm just glad she didn't find out about my wolf ears. The Halloween thing was actually pretty smart if I say so myself. I make sure I'm definitely alone, and lock the door.
I stare out the window, and see something kneeling by a river. I watch the mysterious figure drink until something gut wrenching happens.
Hey everyone! Hope you enjoyed this chapter. I had to double Cerise's POV, because it wouldn't make sense if it went straight to Hunter. Next chapter will also be in Cerise's POV, but also in Hunter's. I'm planning to put it in sections. That's all until next chapter!
