A Wizard In The Future
Mei Masiki was a girl with only one friend and had an average life with just the simple drama thrown in when it needed to. However, when she turned twelve she met a group of friends that seemed to understand her, and they turned great friends with her. Mei was then having an even more interesting life ahead of her, but then everything changed. Her friends betrayed her, her original first friend staying with them, but the most disastrous thing that happened was that Mei realized she was a wizard. She had the ability to take anybody's wishes, like a genie, and make them possible. She could also do spells and whatever she wanted to, but she had to learn them somehow. The group of friends which betrayed her would hate her even more now, but Mei decided she was even better than them. She was a wizard and could do cool things!
Except, Mei didn't want to be a wizard. It causes too many problems and secrets.
The time came and Mei was put to the test. She got a letter in the mail, but it was a quiz on what spells she's learned already. She hasn't learned anything except for waving her wand in a cross and it making waffles. The letter stated that these spells should have been taught by a man named Yuouta Takushi. She had no idea who this person was. Mei had to find out, though, because she now needed this information. The letter also has a deadline. May 16th 2020, it says. How? It's only 2004. Mei thought to herself. Mei then thought that maybe it was because she had done a wrong spell.
Mei then decided she needed to find another wizard, to go back in time and change one small thing to have avoided. She decides to hunt down Takushi and ask him what's going on.
Weeks pass and Mei still hasn't found Takushi, she looks on a business sign and finds its May 10th 2020. She has less than five days to put herself back in present-day. She was going to start asking people. A man whom she just asked if he has heard of the name before, turns back from walking away from Mei and asks, "Have you looked in a phonebook yet?" Mei hadn't. Now she looks stupid. Mei yells a "Thank you!" at the man and runs away, making the man extremely confused and people staring as she ran down the street.
After running to a quaint cafe, Mei asks a cashier if she has a phonebook. Mei's feet are aching, her breaths are short and quick. The woman has the phonebook, and she finds Takushi. Mei phones Takushi and she and him set up an appointment to meet. Mei heads on her way to the cafe outside of Takushi's home.Mei and Takshi find a way to help her, Takushi has to send her back in time. She is nervous for this, but she needed to figure out what would go wrong. It's for the better.
Mei is sent back into the present-time, and stays friends with the group of friends. She goes back into the future anonymously, to see how it would play out, and she realizes her future self, has no idea she was, or once a wizard. She soon realizes this isn't a good way to end up. Her group of friends left her this time, and she got married to Takushi, neither of them wizards. The letter she was supposed to receive, was never there. Everything changed, and Mei didn't know if she'd rather be a wizard or not.
