You know the butterflies that attack your stomach, and the flush that rushes to your cheeks when you first meet someone you like? A constant banging erupts, starting as a small thud, erupting in your chest, and building gradually into something more; followed by bells, twinkling in your ears and singing praises for this person.

Because, she's being mentioned by the boy she likes (maybe even loves—the gradual rise of her feelings reaching higher and further than anything she's ever known), and she's being brought into conversations, hundreds of thousands of conversations.

Everything she owns is flying across her screen.

Notifications lighting her entire phone, vibrating second after second, dinging one moment after another. Her accounts were reaching new heights, twitter followers flying, Instagram comments being buried, phone dinging with message after message.

He'd told her minutes before, urged her to go private or deactivate or just delete, but she wasn't fast enough because thousands of people got in.

Yes, she was being mentioned by the boy she liked, she was being texted and brought into conversations but not in the way she wanted.
